  • Well, it seems pretty unlikely that TWD would be affected by the delay of a completely different game. They really have no reason to remake TWD.

As far as we know. Have they really said anything about it that I don't know about it though?

  • I thought the trailer was awesome. Even better than the trailer for All That Remains. I'm really excited for the Episode now.

  • What reason did they have to remake TWAU? If that was even the case..?

  • Probably someone figured out that the Red haired guy is suspicious, so they had to change direction with the story to keep it from becoming predictable.

  • That would actually be pretty funny if that was the case, I really hope that's the case.

I thought it was great. At least it gives us something to discuss while we wait for the episode. I'm rather fascinated by this Carver guy and what actually happened with their group before Clem came along.

Huh? I thought the trailer was amazing. It got me excited for the episode and had great music, all while not revealing too much. That's exactly what a trailer should be. And the wait has not been that long.

  • im pleased that the trailer has been released but i thought it was average, the episode will be no doubt good, looking forward to seeing who comes back from the dead, seems we might get to choose sides.

    It still needs alot more!

    Y'know what this thread needs?

  • you do realize you were gonna get a lot of down votes lol.

  • Well, it looked like Shel may have been in it, so perhaps it was a hint towards us meeting the 400 Days characters?

I have no complaints about the trailer. The only thing I wish was that there were more "easter eggs" maybe like a hint as to who the "mystery"character is . . .

  • Hey guys sorry if i offended anyone seeing all the downvotes. Not my intention to be negative, i just felt like there was something missing in the trailer, it just didn't get me hyped that's all. Trust me, i want this to be a great episode and i think it will :)

  • Well I'm very sorry i offended you. Yea i could have put more input on my opinion but there is no need to be horrible because i didn't explain why. If you want an answer then here:

The trailer just didn't hype me up that was all it was to it. The trailer for All That Remains did, Clem being attacked and falling in the river for example. That got me excited for it, i guess this trailer didnt have any wow moments for me but that could all change next week.

You will see i am not the type of person to intentionally piss people off. So please if you are angry at any posts i make then discuss it with me privately instead of personally insulting me on the internet.

    Thank you.

Actually, there are a few controvesial things in the episode that could potentially demand recreation in their perspective.

Namely the fact that people found out the doorknocker's identity, Troy, when they clearly wanted to hold suspense over him being Carver, the result of which was that they decided to avoid unnecessary attempts at suspense and just made the confirmed Carver come to visit.

Alternatively, they could have originally planned that the TYWD person would have been neither Lilly or Kenny, planning to further tease Lilly and Kenny fans. As they noticed how a war was waging on the forums over the subject, their tail went between their legs due to realizing that their playful little tease would make the community explode into fiery rage and they rewrote the episode from the revelation onwards in panic.

That would be quite crazy, huh.

Well, it seems pretty unlikely that TWD would be affected by the delay of a completely different game. They really have no reason to remake TWD.

  • Downvotes mean nothing. It's just some idiots way of trying to aggravate people. When in reality very few take any notice, so them downvoting is meaningless. As far as the trailer is concerned, I didn't think it was too bad. However it's not the trailer I want, it's the bloody episode itself.

We have all waited long enough, and shown much more patience than telltale deserve. I know for a fact there are some people that aren't going to bother with telltale in the future, so they have already lost customers over this.
Yes im sure there are those on this forum that will tell me telltale aren't going to be fussed over a few disgruntled customers. Truth is though, they should be. Lost revenue hurts any company and a bad name spreads alot quicker than any disease.

  • Not long to go now. As long as episode 3 etc isn't another 2 month delay then thats fine but this has been too long. I've had to replay ep1 a few times just to recap stuff i might forget since this delay

  • Agreed. It's not good at all if after 2 months waiting that this episode is only an hour and a half again. I remember s1 ep4 being at least 2 and a half to 3 hours long depending how you play so i hope they will get longer

i loved it. it already has a feeling to it already. Like it's really late out and cold.. i just hope this isn't an 1 hour ep (most likely is though)

  • i can kinda agree with it being disappointing. it was basically just a recap that went over who we met, what most of us already figured, and a clip setting the scene for one of their teaser pics. we saw carver, and he didn't really say anything we didn't already know, and they ignored the one scene that got the most hype.

imo, this felt more like the "next time" clip we should have gotten, minus actually seeing carver. what this teaser gave us vs the actual "next time" would have kept far more in the air, and then the old clip would have been the real booster shot episode 2 needed after the wait.

The trailer was amazing .why you say its disappointing .
