Why did Clem climb the tower? (Trailer discussion)
When I was watching the new trailer for the first time, I was too excited to pay close attention. So today I watched it over and over again, looking for the smallest of details. After a while, I noticed something larger, something odd.
Here's the trailer so you can see what I will talk about:
Now, at about 00:50 you can see the base of some kind of white tower, it's opened and a red light is seen within it, meaning there's still electricity.
But then, at exactly one minute in, you see Clem on top of what appears to be that same tower. But why? What could she possibly gain form climbing that tower, other than to look around, which doesn't seem very necessary.

They could be trying to get a ski lift working.
I'd say either because they need to take a look at their surroundings for nagivation purposes, or they were surrounded by walkers and it was the only way to go.
Its a wind turbine with the service door open at 0:50, the tower she climes is the ski lift behind Carver in the pic below which is in the mountains
Maybe climes up to look for someone or see where they need to go.
I think she did it to look badass
To train base jumping.
probably to scout out ahead.

I would guess to scout out the area. That's quite an important thing to do in a zombie apocalypse in the middle of the wilderness.

But it will be revealed to be Lily's.

SHe's scouting the area or looking for some specific building or reference that will lead the group to where they want to go
