Could the cabin group be the REAL threat?
I know we all probably think that carver is bad. or do we know for sure. The man who walks into the house in the new trailer is obviously carver. He says "You have no idea who these people are do you"
he also says "if these people don't trust you, how can you trust them"? maybe the cabin group did something bad to carver. or maybe carver is just trying to trick Clem, THIS IS JUST MY THEORY, im not saying this is what IS happening im saying this MIGHT be what's happening. Thanks!! btw I do believe carver is bad im just saying what if.

Ofcourse they did alot of bad things when they were part of Carvers group. But they obviously regret it and moved forward by throwing Carver out of their group/or leaving Carvers group depending on how things went down back then.
Thats what I am thinking too dude. Maybe Carver is a good guy.
I believe that if the theory that the cabin's group is Russel's group and Carver is Steve from his story that Carver is the eral messed up person.
But I think things will not be that simple, I'm guessing the cabin group will also be pretty dark as well, it's just hidden and that's why Carlos wanted to keep Sarah allways on the dark of what was happening...
But the way I see things people are not bad or good in the linear sense of the words... In my oppinion you cna kill anyone you want, as long as you are not against Clem you are not the enemie

Personally, i think Carver is the real threat. Sure, the group may have done some bad things in the past, but, at least they have moved forward and regret what happened. Perhaps Carver wants to get revenge on them? Who knows. We will find out as the season progresses.

Carver is Rebbeca's baby's (supposed) father, in case you didn't figgure that out yet. He might chase after them for revenge to some extend, but his main intention is the baby.
ya i knew that. rebbeca cheated so she doesn't know whos baby it is. kind of what happened in the walking dead show with lori. and luke says "whats the one think a guy would walk hundreds of miles to get there" while he is saying that rebeca has her hand on her belly. so maybe carver wants the baby to be his, no mater what.
I think Carver is still the bad guy. Sure, the Cabin Crew might have a couple of assholes (Rebecca and Carlos, possibly Nick depending on how you view him) but they're all scared shitless of Carver. All they want is to be left alone, especially by Carver. The fact that he's been hunting them down for hundreds of miles really doesn't give him many points in his favor, especially if he's a good guy.
Assuming he's the same chap who was leading Russels former group then he's certainly not 'good'. If I recall correctly Russel said he was along the lines of "Shall we shoot these guys and take their stuff?" clearly not an angel, but that's not to say the cabin survivors are white knights either.

I think it's never as simple as good guys and bad guys. Like real life, it's more complex than that. There are sympathetic characters in the cabin group (Luke, Pete), the less sympathetic characters probably have their reasons for being that way (Rebecca, Carlos) and even the sympathetic ones have their flaws (Alvin is a wimp, Pete is harsh with Nick). They've probably done bad things in order to survive. Who hasn't dropped the odd salt lick on an old dude's head to still be alive at this stage?
As for Carver… He may have been wronged, he may be the father of Rebecca's baby, he may be acting out of revenge or all of those things and more.
I think it's a great set up. We don't know where our sympathies should lie, who we can trust or what people are hiding. My hopes for this season are high.
