Actually, if hearsay is true, Rick is in some serious trouble. My friend told me that Kirkman announced that after this thing with Negan, it's going to follow an older Carl, leading the group. My guess is Rick gets fucked up bad.

It's likely that Clementine won't survive much longer, out there in the woods with a group of incompetent survivors and some psychopath chasing after them. Plot/player armor may be strong, but how long do you thing that will last?
I didn't read the comics online and I think that's not a good move for the story...
Yes, I agree the story stopped being about Rick and the… more group and is about the world of the walking dead, what is awesome, but killing off ALL or almost all of the manny charatchers will not do go for the sales I think...
He'll problably kill Rick and/or Carl and only two or three charatchers that are still alive will make it... I don't know, we have to wait and see.
That girl on the cover could be Lilly from the game, that would be fun :P DOn't start the hating people I'm just saying...
In some previous Issue he mentioned he wants to end the comic at around Issue 300 and said Rick won't live until the end, but then he corrected himself by saying that he had enough material for at least 500 Issues.
In the cover for issue 126 it shows negan in fear and a left handed person holding Lucille, I think its rick and he's gonna bash negans head in just like what negan did to glenn, I'm also thinking a major character is going to die.
I don't know why, but I never pronounce it as Hey-Zeus. I always pronounce it as Jesus as in Jesus Christ. I don't think Jesus is going to die, but Andrea was destined to after she got it on with Rick.
If you look at the covers, one of them literally shows Jesus being pulled down by a herd of walkers. It doesn't look good for him.
Also, no one pronounces it as "hey-zeus" because he's nickname is Jesus because he looks like Jesus Christ. It's not his real name, it's because of his likeness to Jesus... His real name is Paul.

And I still don't think that Andrea will die.
Michonne hasn't had much character development outside of her social awkwardness, relationship with Ezekiel, and being a badass, Carl has only had more character development in recent books. Andrea's been a major character since the start of things, in my mind, she's much more important than either of those two, and hell, even Maggie is more important than Michonne at the moment. Being a fan favorite character doesn't mean that they're still important within the story, despite how popular they may be.
And as much as I do like Carl's recent development, it's only been very recently. He was already important at all in books 1-8.
And also, Abraham kind of only took the place of Tyresse as Rick's "lieutenant" with a bit off a spin on his personality.
Andrea's been around since the very beginning, and was an important character ever since the second book... If those were your favorite character's then fine, but to say whose the most important is more objective, and it's very clear to say. So really, it's something more like this:
Rick
Andrea
Carl
Michonne
Maggie
Those are the top five most important in terms of story. Not my own favorite, or the five most popular(if it was that, then Michonne and Jesus would be on top, with Shiva right below).
Would be funny if these new characters die off real fast then Kirkman goes back to the main story. Kind of like what he did for Invincible putting in science dog right before the conclusion of the conquest arc (I think it was the conquest arc). I wish he wouldnt do that though it was building up really good.
Yeah, but Michonne has done a lot more than Andrea. There are more instances of her helping Rick and doing important shit than Andrea, though it's close. Carl, however, has been the objective of Rick. Rick only does what he does because of Carl. So that makes him a driving force in the story. Abraham... You're right, dropping Abrahma fits, though he was very important. Wait, what did Andrea do in the second book again? That was her doing gun training, right? Also, I don't like Abraham. I found him to be kind of a prick. Regardless, Andrea is still very important, though I think it's more like this:
Rick
Carl
Michonne
Andrea
Dale
I say Dale, because multiple times he separated the group, and without him, only Rick and Carl would be alive from the original group.
Michonne hasn't had much character development outside of her social awkwardness, relationship with Ezekiel, and being a badass, Carl has on… morely had more character development in recent books. Michonne was important during The Heart's Desire for fucking everything up, and then basically acted as resident badass until 9 and 10 when she helped rick cope with his loss. Michonne was once more resident badass again until they got to alexandria and became the deputy. She just filled that role until All Out War basically. to put it nicely, she's a footsoldier. A popular footsoldier, but a foot soldier none the less.
Andrea's relationship with Dale and position as the sharpshooter was constantly touched on during the prison arc. She had a bit of the spotlight in Fear the Hunters as well. After Dale was gone, there was the business with her and spencer and douglas, which was less important I'll admit. She's become incredibly important during the more recent books, but was always important before then, unlike Carl and Michonne. Also, in the second book she was the one who tried to help Allen deal with Donna's death, and also it focused on her getting over Amy's death.
While you're right that Carl has been Rick's driving force, as a character, his only development was occasionally with Sophia, and then he became a background character. They gave him a bit more focus after the Prison Arc, but that faded fairly quickly, and only recently has his character gotten more development.
So really, Carl as a representation of Rick's goals has been important, but Carl as a character has only recently been important. I'll give you that Michonne may be the second most important character, but you do have to admit, when she isn't needed in a story arc, she does kind of fade away into the background... I've got nothing against the character, I just think that Andrea has a bigger role in the story outside of the action scenes.
Also, I wouldn't necessarily name Dale as number 5 because he died in book 11, and we're on 21 right now... Maggie wasn't very important for a lot of the story, but there is the whole thing with her leading the hilltop and being pregnant now though so...
Still, if we were counting dead characters, then I'd definetly name Glenn as number 5... Seeing as he was Rick's friend, and one of the only people who held onto his humanity.
Yeah, but Michonne has done a lot more than Andrea. There are more instances of her helping Rick and doing important shit than Andrea, thoug… moreh it's close. I say Dale, because multiple times he separated the group, and without him, only Rick and Carl would be alive from the original group.
Michonne being a resident badass helped a lot though. In practically every book she would save someone. If that's not important I don't know what is.
Andrea didn't do much in the prison arch though. The prison arch was mainly Rick, Lori, and Michonne, with Glenn and Andrea sprinkled through the way. Andrea was pretty important, but never more important than Michonne, until maybe recently, as I'm not entirely caught up.
I'm talking about overall importance, not development. If we're talking about development, then Rick is almost dead last, with two developments in the whole story. Being comfortable with killing, and learning that he should focus on a group rather than on his son, as the group will protect his son.
And that is what I call extremely important because it's important on two fronts.
Dale's legacy is still present in 17, however, as Andrea is still feeling guilt, to the point of talking to his hat, and also because Maggie, Sophia, and Andrea would be dead without him. Glenn would've died way earlier. Probably Rick, too.
Yeah, but for the longest time, Glenn existed only to bang Maggie, and then, only to cry a lot.

I suppose you're right about Dale, but counting living characters, then Maggie is probably fifth most important.
And I am talking overall importance to the story. If Michonne died right now in the story, not much would have changed because now they've got Jesus, and if they didn't have Jesus, then just like when Tyresse died, a "replacement' character would come. (Abraham was Tyresse with a spin on his personality )
Outside of being socially awkward and her almost completely unexplored backstory, Michonne isn't very unique, and as important as she may be to the story, there are similar characters that would fill the hole if she died. That isn't the case with Andrea. In my mind, that simply makes her more important.
I don't really think one of us will be able to convince the other either way, so this conversation/argument, while fun, will ultimately lead to nothing.

For overall importance, Michonne is more, due to how many times she's saved Rick and co. She saved them all about 5 times a piece. Without her, they'd all be dead. If she died now, it wouldn't matter, because she's set such a high bar, Jesus would have to just become God to meet her level, especially if they coexist in Rick's group.
Now you know why I hate Michonne. But, again, from past actions alone, she lives up to number 3.

I can tell you that you aren't making any ground. Sorry, but as much as I respect and appreciate your opinions and arguments... you've done nothing to convince me that Michonne is more important than Andrea. I feel we're just repeating ourselves over and over again, so let's agree to disagree, okay?
Though, in my mind, Jesus has already matched Michonne because he's fought four heavily armed people with just his bare hands. Plus, he's technically already beaten Michonne in a fight... her and Abraham.

That's what I'm thinking it will be.
I really don't think Andrea will die, I think Andrea's safer than maybe anyone besides Rick and Carl.
I don't think that they'll kill Rick, or for that matter, even Andrea or Carl. Well, not Andrea anyway, at least, I don't WANT her to die.
I think they're probably just going to switch to this other group for a little while, and then maybe have them run into each other.
Actually, if hearsay is true, Rick is in some serious trouble. My friend told me that Kirkman announced that after this thing with Negan, it's going to follow an older Carl, leading the group. My guess is Rick gets fucked up bad.
Your friend lied, or is at least incorrect. All Kirkman's said is that it will be "a new beginning" after All Out War. He hasn't given any specifics.
My friend said your friend is a liar. Actually, it seems like Jesus and Andrea are going to die and Rick's finally getting a knife for his stump.

I don't know, man. Look at the last chick he got with. Just BAM, dead.
That's because Jessie was a very minor and unimportant character. Next to Rick, Andrea is basically the most important character. It's different.
Rick -> Carl -> Michonne -> Andrea.
And that's only because Abraham died recently.
Hopefully, we will get 128 cover art next week. I hope jesus doesnt die; He is awesome.

I like the comic but it was starting to get repetitive for me. I'm not anxious to keep up with it as much as something like Fables.

:-) You just gotta read between the lines.
A long way between the lines

Just because Jesus is tougher doesn't mean he's more important. I don't think Jesus mutilated the governor, or saved Rick at least 3 times per book
No, I wasn't saying that he was more important, just that he does appear to actually be an overall stronger character.
