Demographics (Immigrants)
A relatively unrelated question, but I'm curious how many people in the community are (like me) away from their home country? I've been here almost 4 years (mostly student visa), so I'm not sure if I'm really an immigrant; I love my home country and I love the country I live in and it's hard to imagine leaving. I'm just curious what percent are in the same situation/can relate?

This would probably be better suited in general/off topic discussion.
In the city where I live I know a lot of people who like you had to leave their country for a better future i suppose, Im not sure you will find many people like that here though
I moved here from Japan (Military brat). I've lived in America for nearly 11 years. I hate it. Everybody's so selfish and greedy, and the president is creepy.
When i was 5 i moved to here im 15 now so i live 10 year in the NETHERLANDS
I live in Korea, and the current Japanese Prime Minister is so dickish... No offence, but he's yelling about Dokdo and even the confort women issue... I don't mean any disrespect you being from (or at least having longed a long time in) Japan, but Abe is going far right... I liked Koizumi a lot more...
I realize this is a bs arguement, but I want to say, met a lot of really nice Japanese (who were the majority) in my Korean language school, and I have no problem with the Japanese people, just the uber-right who try to legitimize colonialism.
Couldn't be,probably 'cause i'm only 13...So yeah...
Both my parents are from America, but they preferred Okinawa Island. I don't remember it so well, but I did too. No offense taken, don't worry.
I'm 13, to, and I moved her from Japan when I was 2.
I'm American....
Does that make me greedy and selfish...
That's so AWESOME!You know,it's funny,'cause i'm currently working on this novel about the zambie apocalypse, and there's this dudette that's 13,and moved from Japan when she was 5.
I'm going to be in that situation. Moving to the US later this year.
