Nah. I think you should give them persona and you should make them a main conflict. In TWD, the walkers aren't the main conflict, at least, they don't move the comics forward. I guess you can give them made up names, but still..
The Trolls are an even bigger threat than you can imagine, names means nothing for the Trolls. An interesting way to put it is... remember the Borrok in Bionicle? (They had no names and were very dangerous).
