The PS3 version was only cancelled in America, so if you wanted to, you could import a European copy, since there's no region locking on the PS3, which is awesome.
That said, I wouldn't get excited. Everything I've heard about this game has been...negative, shall we say.

For a lot of these, it's out of Telltale's hands and in those of whoever updates the store (Microsoft, Sony, etc). No point in announcing something if they haven't been told it's definitely happening.
It's the 4th for America (GMT -7 I think), so we Australians will have to wait until the 5th. For Episode 1 it was around 6 or 7am when Steam allowed me to download the game so it'll probably be around the same time for Episode 2.
Tomorrow, it is finally over. At least for us PC/Mac, and NA PS3 users. Only one day and eight hours left. It should be available to download between 8-9 PM CET, (2-3 PM EST). It's the times we got All That Remains, and Smoke & Mirrors for The Wolf Among Us. I think it's a good improvement for Telltale to release for the platforms they have a date for, instead of staying silent until the night before release.
Edit: All XBOX and EU PS3 users is gonna hate me for saying this...
I have just joined the community and my first act will be to avoid the shiz out of it until Episode 2 comes out for 360! lol
