Christa Will Remember That
I don't know if there's a thread about this already, but there's a few times at the beginning of season two when it says "Christa will remember that" and yet she is intercepted mysteriously by the bandits very near the beginning. As much as I honestly don't care whether she reappears or not, (personal preference) maybe the Christa remembers this will lead into something like her return later. Thoughts?

CHRISTA
Well it said "Carley will remember that" a moment before... You know
and? when you agree with omid to choosing the babies name - it'll say "Omid will remember that"
I'm sure everyone remembers the Carley incident, right?
Okay, sorry.I don't know,i think Christa will come back.I just...I just KNOW she will come back.TTG won't let her just disappear, and neither will Clem. She'll be back.
In Carleys case it was because she remembered something Lee said right before she was shot, so its strongly implicating that Christa will return. You guys should already get what that 'remember' notification means. It could mean very next sentence.
I forgot that happened. Idk maybe it's just a way Telltale tricks us straight to the last moment into believing the character will have a decision to refer to later. xD
Carley will remember that... for ten seconds.
That was so meta.
We hear the sounds of a struggle while Clem runs away, and then a gunshot. It doesn't look good for Christa.
That's what I thought too, then I saw the "Christa will remember that" and wondered otherwise for a moment. But now that the Carley moment has been mentioned here I doubt her return again xD
People keep mentioning the Carley incident, am I the only one who remembers Shawn.
Actually, it says "Christa will remember that" even if you agree with Omid. I realize that this might turn out to be another Carley situation, but it's awfully suspicious that the game seems to make a point of never once saying "Omid will remember that" and always focusing on Christa...
Well it said that Carley would remember that 10 seconds before her death, and it said Shawn will remember that before you talked to Hershel and he ended up dying. It's because Telltale wants to be unpredictable, making you think that they'll live but then BAM. They're dead.
There are a few examples of "So-and-So will remember that" shortly before that character dies. I don't understand why people keep trying to read something into that. They did remember that. For about ten seconds. Then they died. The end.
In Christa's case, we didn't see her die. So it's entirely possible that she'll be back in a later episode. But whether she survives or not, it won't have anything to do with her memory skills.
People bring up the Carley case for good reason. Telltale said themselves that they do that for every character in every situation to avoid any sort of spoilers. If a character that had that mark over the screen meant they were gonna live until they mentioned it later, well there goes any sort of tension in the story. By doing that for everyone it insures that the player will never know who will bite the dust.
