With episode 2 around the corner, did you make any last-minute changes in Episode 1?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

I regretted helping Nick the second I made that choice, so I went back just now and went for Pete instead. No matter his situation, he was just nicer.

Did you decide to change anything?

  • LoL I did the same :)

  • Saved Pete. :P I know,I know live with your choice, but I regretted saving Nick real bad.

  • I never change any of my choices. I do admit that I have made horrible choices and choices I'm not proud of (Mainly because I was under pressure). Ex: Choosing Nick over Pete, but I refuse to change any of my choices because I have to live with them. Like if this was real life, I can't redo any of my actual choices, so I'm just gonna sadly stick with it. =(

  • I never change anything in my first playthrough. While it can be tempting at times, I find it much more enjoyable to live with the consequences of my choices even, and sometimes especially, when I make choices I end up regretting afterwards.

  • Just around the corner? OMG its been delayed for another month???/

  • No, but I did sort of fudge 400 Days... In my defense I didn't realize there was an order too them the first time...

  • No but it was tempting! I just got a new PC so I had to play episode 1 again and pick all the choices that I did the first time around. It was hard to choose Nick over Pete and I know not giving that dying man water will most likely bite me in the ass but I must stick to what I choose.

  • I'll be playing through episode 1 again, at least once, before episode 2 is released. :) Guessing between 6 - 7:30pm UK time. Hopefully sooner than 7:00pm though, as while I remember Wolf's 2nd episode being delayed, it was before 7:pm I 'think'.

  • My laptop got busted so i had to buy a new one and lost all me saves.
I just finished Season 1 Episode 2 so no where near where i was up to but i never change what i choose. Defeats the purpose of the game.

  • Never changed anything on my original playthrough and don't think I've ever been tempted to. Well maybe going back for JUICY but didn't do it.

  • My first save, I let it remains unchanged and that's what I am going to play with first. :) But yeah, I quickly regretted that I chose Nick over Pete.

  • I don't change what I've done and don't really regret it. I went to Nick and Pete died. From my perspective, I didn't know if Nick would survive if I went to Pete and I could clearly see that Pete was bitten. My Clem sees that as death no matter what. Lee cut off his arm after being bitten and still died so to Clem Pete was already dead. There was no reason to potentially sacrifice Nick as well.

  • Haha no

Just around the corner? OMG its been delayed for another month???/

  • Funny fact: I managed to get everyone to go with the women in my first playthrough. I couldn't believe it when I found out how fragile their alignments would be based on the choices.

  • I usually have two saves running at the same time. In my first I saved Nick, in the second, Pete. I just like experiencing everything.

  • I played through again just so I didn't have the watch. I picked it up the first playthrough on a spur of the moment impulse, immediately regretted it but couldn't put it back. Everything else is unchaged.

  • I'm really happy with my choices. Saved Pete, refused to give water, killed dog. I didn't make any mistake (I played it 2nd and imo this are good decisions).

  • Never change the story, Have to deal with it.

  • I did recently go back and get the juice box, since I didn't know about it. I also told Pete that he should explain things to Nick, but I'm not sure it'll affect anything. I kept all my other choices the same though.

  • I'll never change anything in any of my choices, at least in my first play through. I told Clementine that I thought her parents were dead on the train... I regret that and I know that it's going to bite me in the ass in one of these episodes. Ugh! I went to save Pete because Nick came off as an asshole, hell he practically almost blew Clementine's face off, and Pete, well Pete seemed so nice and there was no way that Pete could escape and Nick did have some bullets left.

I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this, but here goes anyway.
In my main save I went back and left the dog to suffer.

    RULES OF NATURE!!!@#!#JDSASGARADKMDAS@!

  • I replayed the whole episode just to make the bad decisions.

So now I have a "good decisions" save and a "bad decisions" save.
I stole the watch and didnt accept the guy with the hat apology (guess, nick?) and threatened alvin MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

    EVIL CLEMMY IS BACK

  • I'll delete all my saves and replay from episode 1. I replayed it so many times already and made so many different decisions that i forgot which ones i took in my main save file.

  • I have 2 saves so I saved both

  • No changes. Just replaying 400 Days on a different playthrough to refresh my memory some since there's a chance we might be seeing some of the characters in a few hours

  • Not for the sake of changing things. I played ep 1 before, but without an correctly imported save (400 days was missing). After replaying 400 days, I could correctly import it, and then I replayed ep 1. I made 2 big changes along the way. I did save Pete over Nick this time, and another one was that I refused to become friends with Sarah. I´m not sure how I feel about changing my choice to save Pete, but that change was definitely more natural. I didn´t think it was an option the first time around, so I did the pinky swear. Not that I intend to be mean to Sarah, just that it takes some time to become friends. I didn´t change any other choices (saved Christa / didn´t kill / accepted / gave water / saved Pete).

  • Yes, I did. On my first "real choices" save, I didn't give the guy water because I felt he didn't deserve it. But after that I went back and gave the dude some water, even if he was a bandit he was dying and some water was his last dying wish.
