Question about the end of S2E02 (spoilers within)

Is there anyway to save Mathews friend, i think Walter was his name? The fat balding guy. In my game he died. Everyone else lived.

Did anyone have a different ending?

    I'm actually curios about that as well. In my play, Alvin and Walter both ended up dead.

    Okay so my gameplay.
    Have to put it out there that I loathe everyone apart from Luke and Alvin.

    So in my gameplay, Nick, Alvin and a bad guy died. Walter wasn't even close to dying.

    Edit: scratch that, I'm stupid, I just forgot. He's dead.

    First playthrough Clem climbed out the window and went to find Kenny and Luke and Walter got shot. And when I went back to play my second playthrough I chose to give ourselves up and Carver still shot him. I think if Kenny shoots Carver's guy then Walter get's killed either way.

    Yup it doesnt really seem like a relevant character to me

    Only if they need a cook lol which i dont think they will

    I feel kinda bad. I even hit Walter afterwards. I don't what's going on with my feelings, I've been constantly giving Nick shit and even told Kenny that I can't speak for everyone (laughed real hard at Luke's face after that), but when Walter didn't help him I just though "nah man, that ain't right". Plus there was something up with Walt. He seemes a bit cuckoo.

    Only Walter died in my playthrough. Then Carver took Alvin to kill him but I had the option to protect him. I clicked and Clem ran to Alvin but Carver kicked her. He let Alvin alone and threatened to kill Clem. Kenny surrenders. They all left. Walter has to die I think, because we can't stop Kenny from killing Johnny.

    Luke is not found, though. And I think Carver has something against him.

    Yeah especially with his "partner" gone now he would of been a drag.
