Actually, I urged him to come with Clementine. If you do that, he tries but fails, falls and tells Clementine to run, Clementine runs and the same scene happens later.
You get stuck in the back of a delivery van. Pete takes a saw and considers cutting off his leg but realises he'd just bleed out from it. Cl… moreem can give him some water/find a pack of cigarettes. Eventually you wait until night, Pete and Clem fall asleep, there's a moment where Clem checks to see if he's turned and though he hasn't it's obvious he's in bad shape.
Eventually, Pete says he'll make a distraction so Clem can escape when he realises he's pretty much immobile due to the bite. He climbs into the driver's seat and starts the engine to attract the zombies whilst Clem runs back to the house.
Later on when you go to search for him, Clem finds his body behind a boulder. Its been partially devoured but interestingly there's a bullet hole in his head, Clem noting that he didn't have a loaded gun on him.
"He's a good guy." The same words I said to Walter.

Can Carlos die? I'm trying to make an opposite playthrough where I make all of the opposite major choices, but Carlos still lived. Lol.
You save Alvin by running up to him when Carver decides to shoot him. You save Nick by showing him the photo of Walter and Matthew then telling Walter that Nick is a good guy, or else Walter will let him die to the zombie that attacks him. Carlos to my knowledge lives regardless, Johnny(the member of Carver's group that Kenny shoots) to my knowledge dies regardless, Matthew to my knowledge dies regardless, Walter to my knowledge dies regardless.

That is what happened for me too. I am really sorry, because otherwise I was always on his side. But I refuse to replay it. I stick with my only playthrough.
I think he's going to be this season's Ben... Almost shot you when you met the group, shoots a guy (although he was trying to protect Luke and Clem) and could get killed for it (in my gameplay I convinced Walter to forgive him... although it's not going to be useful anymore)...
Also a dude going around saying Nick can die at the start of the episode. Which is clearly bullshit because then there would be no one dumb enough to shoot Matthew.
Pete (still alive on my saved game), Matthew (bridge guy), bad guy on the window (Johnny? Even though I told Kenny to leave them and go look out for Luke. DAMN IT KENNY!) and Walter as a consequence of Kenny's foolishness.
I guess those three die no matter what choices you make? It seems that you can only save Nick by telling Walter the truth and that he is a good guy.
I now know this. I wanted to take Kenny's gun and shoot people my self, but the game makes you purposely miss a lot since you're a little girl, so that probably wouldn't have been a good idea lol.
Is that true? Somebody just put if you are silent in the "find Luke & Kenny/Surrender choice Carlos dies? Somebody please test this(I like in the UK and It isn't out yet for me)
alvin, i felt like kenny had to keep shooting after he shot the first guy (even though i told him not to) i didn't think Carver would just forgive him even after killing walter in retaliation
I am really proud of myself, making all the ''right'' choices in terms of character deaths. I was especially heart-broken when Carver snapped Carlos' fingers and Sarah just started crying in the most horrible way! An absolutely brilliant way of playing with my emotions. Also, when Carver grabbed Alvin I immediately ran to his aid, which was a good choice in hindsight.
This episode was a hundred times better than the first, and I loved that one as well! Great job, Telltale. I can safely say that this episode was definitely worth the wait!

He was nice and all but it was obvious he was already dead as hell once he started talking. I did think he was a good character though!

My first playthrough no one died except Pete, Matthew, Walter and Johnny. (Luke whereabouts are unknown...still wondering what happened.)

OT: Pete died, and Walter. Before Kenny took the shot with Alvin and Carver, I pulled the gun and we gave up. This was a great episode.

A few forum members are claiming Carlos can die in this episode, but I haven't seen any scenario where that happens yet.
