Why Luke didn't want Clem to tell Walter about...
People keep saying that Luke was being selfish by not wanting to tell Walter the truth. Have you ever thought that Luke didn't want to tell Walter that Nick shot Matthew because he was afraid what they'll do to Nick? Telling Walter the truth wouldn't have had any consequences on Luke so why did Luke want to keep it a secret? To protect Nick.
Remember what Pete says to Clem about protecting Nick and Luke says the exact same thing. Luke wasn't being selfish, he was just trying to protect Nick. Walter might even let Nick die (Determinant) after he finds out the truth, so in a way Luke was right. Luke was just trying to look out for Nick. He even didn't want to burden him with the truth and even tried to secretly help him out. That's what a real friend would do.

Am I the only one who thinks Luke and Nick might be brothers?
I know it seems like if that is the case it should have been mentioned by now, but they seem to be very good friends and they have clearly known each other since at least before the apocalypse, judging by how they talk about each other.
They're not brothers. Nick confirmed outside of the bridge they're old best bros and they went into business together. He implied they partied and drank a lot as well, probably went to the same college.
Nick never confirmed they weren't brothers, he simply confirmed they've known each other for a long time. That's what I was talking about.
well, did you notice how they reacted when kenny pointed out that they made a nice pair? luke's hesitance to tell walter the truth is understandable, but he seemed against it for more than just nick's sake. luke's character just keeps making me trust him less and less, really. between this scene, what nick and carver have said about him, and the few other times you get a moment alone with him, there's alot more to him than he lets on, and i'm not sure i'll like what it is.
Agreed. I let the timer run out when Walt asked me about it because I didn't want to betray Luke. I was bummed when Clem told him anyway, and then Telltale let me know that I was Dishonest.
Walt clearly already knew, and I had tried to tell him earlier. I thought giving him a moment to gather his thoughts would help.
I think perhaps the hints are just to show that Luke is untrustworthy in the sense that he's reckless and makes bad decisions, but it's possible that he's not as good of a person as he seems.
The value of my morals got to me I showed Nick that he killed Matthew and when Walter found the knife the Jig was pretty much up so I told the truth. I was going to tell him anyway because Nick would of felt even more guilty if he hid it since he wanted to tell Walter the truth.
