Look who it is? :) S2E2 *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Well, well, well. Look who we saw at the lodge. Kenny? You're damn right. That's just a big slap in the face for people saying "u keny fens r so gay & stpid keny ded k". Fuck, that was annoying.

Here's some thoughts/theories about S2E2.

Tavia's Group: Tavia's group? no. Carver's group. It's probably not a theory, but something that'll actually happen. I think Carver's group is the group Tavia tries to get the 400 Days cast to join. Depending on your decisions, the people you see are the people that joined the group. (Most likely). When Bonnie was referring to a "little girl" she was talking about Becca.

Kenny: Well, trying to fight back those tears of joy were pretty tough. This part got me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrJZZnHKLsY
Skip to 3:18. I'm not sure how people could possibly think it wasn't Kenny. I'm not trying to be rude here, but common sense people. (Those muttonchops though).

That's kinda all i've got. :)

  • Probably the most annoying moment in the episode. I rather would've wanted to see Lilly, not Kenny.

This is almost definitely a marketting tactic. People wanted him being brought from the dead and TTG delivered, but lost their soul in the process. There's no freaking way that Kenny would've wanted to live anymore. This is hinted in S1E5 when he looks down at Christa trying to make up for his mistakes. If I had lost my wife and child, dissapointed everyone else by being afraid to help anyone except my own and was surrounded by zombies, I'd just go "fuck it" and put a bullet in my brain.

  • Kenny isn't you and he said he thought that "giving up" is not an option, no matter what. Right after his wife committed suicide. I think it was something along the lines of: "No matter how hard it gets, you suck it up and keep going."

He wanted to save Ben/Christa, couldn't do it regarding Ben, but still tried to fight his way through it. You don't know the whole story. It might have very well be possible for him to escape. Telltale deliberately left his fate open so they could let the players explore it in a second season.

Kenny's definitely a survivalist. Go to 1:12:52 to see what I'm talking about.

  • Yeah, okay, he "got lucky." But "very very lucky".

    LOL. WORST. EXPLANATION. EVER.

Or How to bury the consistency of a series, by Telltale.

  • I know I'm going to be downvoted into oblivion for this but Kenny living does definitely feel cheap. I was expecting a big "OH SNAP!" moment rather than the most predictable choice and one of the most popular characters.

  • Kenny's character is all about prideful stubbornness and goal-oriented forward momentum in the face of insurmountable odds. He's a pragmatist in his decision making but would never, ever go "fuck it" and commit suicide when he thinks there's a chance...even if the chance is as slim as a winning lotto card.

Also "boo hoo the guy who 'died' super-ambiguously offscreen wasn't really dead boo hoo you're sellouts TTG"

Please. If they didn't die on screen and unambigiously, they didn't die. This is like Action Survival Horror 101.

  • I knew this would happen, all the Lilly fans hating on Telltale for the move. It was obvious as fuck, don't act like you didn't see it coming.

  • Weren't we expecting that in the 2 shadows at the end of Season 1? We were all saying it wasn't Christa and Omid, but it ended up being them. Telltale thinks we're idiots. Either way, I'm still happy that Kenny was alive. I really didn't expect those feels when I saw Kenny's face.

I dont know whether the TTG wriers are laughing or cringing at all of you saying Carvers groul is the same as Tavias despite Bonnie appearing contradicting it

what a 'slap in the face' you will receive come episode 3

  • You do realize, he's just lost his family, and he's holding on to that bit of hope. And when he thinks hope has run out, he gets drunk. He's drunk. Not fucking stupid.

  • @SheepInWolfsClothing "I'd just go "fuck it" and put a bullet in my brain."

This should be the fate of all Kenny haters.

  • Are you trying to say it's not? It's pretty fucking obvious, anyway. i'm not 100% on it. It's a damn theory. And Bonnie said to Clementine "I have a little girl like you", she said she had a family so she could get food. But she was using Becca as an option.

You know how Telltale doesn't give you the option to explain the whole thing to characters. Like when you want to tell what really happened, you're either forced to lie or sound like an asshole. take Bonnie's story for example. When Leland comes after you ACCIDENTALLY kill Dee, she's got the option to lie or say "I need you Leland" and be forceful with him, wanting to be with him. That's how Telltale works. They never let you tell or hear the full story/what really happened.
