Will Clementine survive episode 4?

What do you think? I think its weird there is no clementine episode 5 in code already if there is for kenny...Maybe that code shows that Kenny will replace clem as protagonist after she dies (Although i think sarah would be better option than kenny)...
If Clementine dies in episode 4 she should die in the true Robert Kirkman style killed by a villain, maybe Nate in some horrible violent fashion like getting her head bashed like Glen. Then in episode 5 Kenny chases down Clem's killer.

"Okay, guys. We need ideas about how we can top Lee's death in season 1. Any suggestions?"

    "Let's reveal that Luke's a paedophile!"

"Let's have Walker Lee eat Carlos!"

"Let's kill Clementine in episode 4 and turn Sarah into the protagonist for episode 5!"

"George, that's fuckin' GENIUS! Those idiots will never see it coming!!"

    Cut to January 1st, 2015

"George, we're firing you. Nothing personal, but now that the company's flat broke...well, you're lucky we haven't killed you outright."

    "Damn it."

  • They probably needed to make another model and named the episode 5 Clem into something badass.

Clem is confirmed to be alive in ep 5, so no chance guys, she is the protagonist dis season

  • She's going to be alive in episode 5, I'm sure Telltale won't kill off her as she is important. And only a child.

  • She don't die in episode 4. In my option she must be in season 3, but older (18 Y.O.)

  • She's quite the central character to The Walking Dead series. If they killed her off, I'd be very, very annoyed and they will lose a majority of their fanbase. As much as I like Kenny, I prefer him as an NPC. His personality has already done some irrational decisions and if I take control of him I don't think it will have as much weight as I had with Lee and Clem. Because Kenny already done some things of his own accord I wouldn't have wanted him to do.

And don't think that just because they didn't have her file doesn't mean she won't appear in the Episode. They may give her a new character model if Kirkman allow Telltale to have a timeskip or she's simply wearing new clothes. Perhaps there is going to be a new file added towards the episode's release called "Clementine-teenager" if such a timeskip would be possible. I'd love to see if we're allowed to have timeskips like this though. Since this series has already had two (the 18 months later one and the 5 days later one). And I can imagine playing as an older Clem in Season Three.

  • Sarah would be a terrible option, all we'll be doing is threading old ground with her (especially since you had the option to teach her how to shoot). Plus, she's not even remotely as endearing or as likeable as Clementine.

Clementine is the protagoinist of the whole season, telltale confirmed that. I don't see clementine episode 3 text in that picture but clementine is in episode 3 for sure, so it doesen't mean anything if there is no Clementine episode 5 text.

  • Trolltale will do a lot of dumb things in their writing. They will have people leave doors unlocked in a zombie apocalypse. They will have people not take "flashlights following us" seriously.

They will not do anything to jeopardize their cash cow.

  • man that's just a joke :D

  • Oh god okay I love Kenny and he's my bro but honestly I don't think I could deal with his attitude and arrogance through the rest of the season. Especially as Clem. I can't just punch him in the face and then console him now.

  • I think they won't kill her and that Season 3 will be the last TWD season. With a teenager or 18yo Clem, dying with all her friends or finding a safe place with a vaccine or something like that.

I really don't think and maybe don't want to see more than 3, max 4 seasons for this game even if I love it.

Since they're close to Michigan, Wellington at EP 5 , and right now they're in Virginia, some time has definitely passed.
I mean, it took Clem and Christa 16 months to reach Virginia from Georgia... Who knows how long the time skip from EP4 to EP5 will be?

Maybe they're just planning to make a slightly older model for her in EP 5, but haven't started on it yet.
It makes sense, Clem is growing up after all. I imagine it would take them quite some time to make her new model look just right.

We'll get to see an even older Clem by the time EP5 is here, from the looks of it ;]

  • People keep saying they should fast forward to an adult Clementine, when this isn't really possible. They were able to do the 16 month time skip because it makes the game line up time-wise with the comics, which are in the same universe.
In the comics, roughly two or so years have passed.
We have no inkling what the universe will be like that far down the line, and they can't break canon with Kirkman.
And there will never be a vaccine. Curing the outbreak isn't what this series has EVER been about.

  • ^ Agreed, but for some strange reason I think we will be able to have a timeskip at some point with Clementine older. Not too much older though, perhaps 15 or 16. I know it's Kirkman's call really but I don't think it an impossibility that a timeskip may happen again, especially since the comic is taking a drastic change of direction at some point from what I hear.
