S1 Save Files Vanished
Just loaded Season 1 to check something and noticed all my saves are gone. Does anyone know how to get them back?
When I started Season 2, my saves carried over and everything was fine. I've just completed S2 ep 2 and now I am wondering if my season 1 choices are going to carry over if my save files are gone? Or will it be fixed because I started Season 2 with the S1 save before they disappeared?
If anyone can help me on how to retrieve them I would be very thankful. I know they haven't been deleted. I am thinking it is a stupid glitch and I'm hoping others have had this problem.

Do you use Windows 7/8? If so, your save folder probably has quite a few backups. Reply to this post and I will elaborate.

The exact same thing happened to me, and when it referred to the past in episode 2, they were all the choices I had made in season one, so I think your good on your choices being saved. As for retrieving them, if I were you I'd head over to the Support page. The people there are really helpful! My bet is your pref.props got corrupted or crashed.
Windows 7. A while back I had the problem most had after S1 Ep 2 where the choices didn't seem to be carrying over and I lost my save. But now all the saves have gone, when I look in the menu they all say New Game. I have all my saves still on the drive and the pref.props file too. I've restarted season 1 because I can't be bothered sorting it now. I can probably complete it in a day anyway lol plus it gives me chance to look back and possibly change some choices to see if there is any differences.

Go to Documents/Telltale Games, right click "The Walking Dead" and click "properties", go to the "previous versions" tab, drag the folder from the latest working date onto your desktop. Rename the original folder, and replace it with the backup you just restored.
