What if .... and .... are brothers?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

What if Troy and Luke are actually brothers? Luke and Troy have been together since the beginning and lost all their family. They were real close before they met Carver. After they join Carver's group, Luke tries to convince his brother Troy to separate himself from Carver and leave with him. Troy refuses since they want different things and Luke leaves with the group. Now it's brother vs brother on different sides. We might not know it yet from this episode, but since we're spending a lot of time in Carver's community. Maybe Troy is going talk to Clementine about it. Can you imagine those two fighting? It could go like this:

Clementine vs Carver

and

Luke vs Troy

What do you think? Would you like that idea or hate it? I'm going off this idea because they both look young and badass. They don't look SO different to the point where they can't be related. Troy could be the older brother while Luke is the younger brother. This would make the conflict that much better.

  • Eh... Troy seems a bit old to be Luke's brother. And his face is completely different.

Brothers don't always have to be identical. I've seen brothers who look nothing alike. Also he's not too old to be Luke's brother. I had a friend who was 16 and his brother was in his 40's. Troy doesn't look that old, he looks like he's in his early 30's and Luke is in his 20's. Not much of an age difference.

I dont doubt the possibility I just think that there are enough subplots going on and with how slow they are playing out it seems aggravating to introduce another

  • Still, it's uncommon for there to be such an age difference. I don't think that this is what's going on. Most people who have siblings are a year or two, maybe 3-4 from their other siblings.

  • Why is it that every time a new character is introduced they automatically have to be somebodies brother?

This has to be a new record for the random sibling discussion after an episode so I guess ill give op props there.

  • Not really, me and my bro are 7 years apart. And if you want to count half brothers, then he's 8 years younger than him.

  • You know what? Me and my brother are 13 years apart, bud. It's still uncommon. Doesn't change shit.

  • Maybe uncommon in the 1930's but I know tons of people that have 5+ years between their siblings.

  • Lee and Tavia brother sister

    Molly and Lilly sisters

Katjaa and Mark brother/sister (the dumbest one in my opinion)

    Omid and Eddie brothers

and pretty much any combination of the 400 days characters you can think of..... brothers/sisters.

I stand against these threads and I say with pride.. NO! This is not Star Wars, Luke I am NOT your father!

  • Hmmm just realized you have a point. I live in Houston (mostly inhabited by Hispanics) And not to be racists or offend anybody but they breed like jack rabbits XD

Just throwing this out there for the hell of it to try to restore Texas reputation, NO! We are not a bunch of cowboy yippee kay yay hillbillies. That's the states located to our right --->

In fact we white people are a rare bunch here. This has been Pell3t, trying to take down the Texas cowboy stereotype :)

My gosh what a stupidely closeminded statement, being that I have a younger brother, same parents, 19 years younger.

  • I'm not saying it's wrong, or bad, or any shit like that, that would be closeminded. I'm saying that it's uncommon, which, in my area, the largest age difference between siblings I've ever seen, aside from me and my brother (13 years) was 5 years.

  • That's what TV would lead you to believe.

Being a Houstonian its really annoying seeing how when we have the Houston rodeo once a year, for that whole month everybody suddenly turns into a cowboy that wears preppy shit.

The only real stereo type you can get out of Texas is that we love the word "yall" No matter what race you are, if you live in Texas you will eventually start saying it.
