Pete Appreciation Thread [Spoilers]
So with all the appreciation threads flowing around.. some based on characters that dont deserve it..

I thought I'd cook this up.
Lets give a round of appreciation for this hero. Hell of a guy huh? always stood by you and sacrificed himself for you in his final hours. Not once did he look out for himself compared to most people...
What a hero..

I liked Pete in E1, I absolutely loved him in E2. His death was so dignified and well-done that I nearly applauded at my computer screen.
That sequence also really tugged at my heart because of the slight resemblance it bore to Lee's death, being locked in a small room with a bite victim and all. I really like what TTG did with his character. He will be missed.
I feel almost like a jerk, choosing to let him sacrifice himself rather than telling him to come with me..
I always have doubts about this sorta thing, I always believed he just scraped his knee really badly or something, hence why I went with him.
Then his health deteriated during the time in the van and well.. yeah.
Atleast in his final hours I let him have a few pleasures before he died. Cigarette etc..
even if he did die. Atleast he was with someone and didnt die brutally to walkers.
Going with pete is better then Nick anyways. If you go with nick, nick sees pete die and falls into depression. If you go with pete Nick won't get drunk cause he thinks pete is still alive.

Nick and Pete seemed like family. I'm sure whatever conflicts you saw in the episode was just usual family issues that have little to no effect on the opinion of the other.
I was actually really regretted that I gave the water to the dying man when pete asked if clem still have some of it in her bottle
well fuck u, nate is a better character than pete, and i liked pete the most out of the cabin group

You assuming that Pete is indeed an antagonist right?
you cant compare a hero to a antagonist to see who is better. They're polar opposites, it doesn't work like that. At all.
R.I.P Pete... He was the only character in S2 I absolutely trusted and liked since the first moment I met him. It's really rare for TTG to give all heroic and nice characters (well, in S2 the only one I can think about besides is Walt, but... sigh same story). If Pete'd survived and stayed with the group I do see Clem forming strong bond with him.
Im sure killing old people makes him a major anus hole
