Carver should die a painful death. I wouldn't be surprised if Molly turns up, and kills him. Molly of all people knows the horror of a community led by an evil group.
Don't know about "good guys and bad guys" but..... Carver is clearly a survivor. We haven't heard his side of the story yet. It is quite clear though that the cabin group are running as they are clearly oppressed. Carver may only be obsessed with them because he believes Rebecca carries his child. Maybe Carver has multiple "Wifeys" and has some very primitive way of life at his community where "Once you arrive, you never leave" concept.
Good or Bad, either way, I have every bit of motivation to use this guy (if the the game gives me the opportunity) and stay close to him every way I can. In order to survive, you need power, safety and supplies (I don't accept Luke's mentality about family. Family is the end game after you achieve the first two). Carver clearly has all these things so surely the aim here would be to befriend him and take what he has. I'm sure the opportunity to stick a knife in his back will arrive sooner or later, and when it does I'm taking it because Carver is clearly a tyrant (regardless of who started the feud).
He's probably going to force her to, like I said he may be a pedo. I can see it in Carver's eyes, remember what happen to Ellie with David in The Last of Us?
It would be awesome if we were made to betray Kenny in some small way (even if we didn't realise we were betraying him at the time, or Luke and Carver made it look like Clem betrayed him when she didn't), then Kenny with his rapidly deteriorating mental state and rapidly accelerating anger turns out to be the only one we can actually trust.
Basically the ultimate "Oh shit I dun goofed"/player punch moment.

Figures of Authority will always punish those that harbor criminals.
Kenny is dumb if he really cared he would not have shot in a hostage situation with the chance of one of his friends dying.
Pointing a revolver at a little girl was pretty bad but it was smart since he had to find someone the gunner (Kenny) cared for to make him stop shooting. He also wouldn't have shot Clem he didnt have the safety pulled and he knew that Clem knew Kenny after she called out Kenny's name.
No one would of died if Kenny gave himself up and never shot.
This dosnt make Caver the good guy but Carver is very smart and calculating.
If anything Carver is a ruthless dictator. Maybe next episode he talks to Clem because he regrets pistol wiping her and taking her hostage if you tried to save Alvin.
Well, considering that he:
* Broke into the cabin when he (presumably) thought Sarah was the only one there
* Tortured a girl's father… more right in front of her
* Took innocent people as prisoners
* Shot Walter, the nicest man in the world, just because Kenny was trying to save his friends.
* Killed Alvin, the husband of the woman he's bringing back to the camp to be his "family"
* Pistol-whipped an 11-year-old girl
* Pointed a revolver at the head of an 11-year-old girl without even hesitating and planned to kill her
Considering all of that... suuure, he'll be a greeeeeeeat friend.

I'm imagining something like what happens to Pippin in Lord of the Rings, where that one guy in Minas Tirith who is, like, the leader or something takes Pippin as his personal butler. I can see Carver doing a similar thing to keep Clem in sight.
