what do you think is so bad about carvers base?
in the trailer it looked like a pretty secure place but the cabin survivors dont think so there must be some dark secret or something and carver is making them stay, you dont make someone live somewhere so there something up with carvers base.

Seems like the kind of place nobody leaves from...
just like woodbury except the governor killed people who left. atleast carver was generous enough to not kill........depending on the choices you made.
First off it reminds me of woodbury from the TV series , the way they run things there , Carver trys to make it seem like an utopia place but there is something really bad going on and that's why the cabin group run away . I'm sure not all of Carvers group are bad people (Like Bonnie) he just controls them like the governor did .
I think he's really trying to craft his own "perfect" little utopia where everyone obeys him, gets along and never gets into trouble. It's just that his way of keeping everyone in check and maintaning it "perfect" is not really the most sane one.
His goal of everyone living in peace together seems somewhat noble, but he's got a few screws loose when it comes to politics in there.
"Now we can all go back to our home like a real family"
You go against his little fantasy world = you disappear, get tortured into submission or die
Also "Those who do not accept our love...Will surely wish that they had."
kinda had goosbumps when he said that.
Slaves... Free work and given little food. Their just restarting society as we know it thousands of years ago. In the End cut scene you could see them working and Carvers men watching them with their guns
I think that maybe the preview tricked us to think that Carver's base is a bad place.
Maybe it's not so bad...
I hope he wont kill Kenny..
this is my theory
