So thanks to Kenny now we all know the location of Wellington.
Michigan
I made a little map here to give you an idea of how long Clementine, Omid and Christa walked to get to where they are right now.
Now I looked at the biggest cities in Michigan and the only one big enough to match episode 5's slide is Detroit, so Wellington must be somewhere outside Detroit.
How long do you think it'll take them to get there once they deal with Carver? Christa said it'll be months.
It's already December in episode 2 so we can assume we'll get another time skip and get there in 2 or 3 months for it to be still snowing like in the episode's slide.

Damn, nice find.
On walk, it might take almost a full year! I hope TTG goes easy on the time skips.
A year on just foot sounds right providing they have no detours or obstacles. Finding a working car would help cut the time considerably.

There is a Wellington Township in Michigan, but its well north of Detroit.
Just for fun, I plotted a walking course from Savannah, GA to Wellington Township, MI on Google maps.
1,058 miles is quite a hike.
Great find! But google maps shows there's absolutely almost nothing in there but they can still set up a camp in there. That's also around the Michigan snowbelt area so that would explain the "cold ass winters" that Kenny talks about whereas Detroit doesn't get that cold. Maybe we'll definitely pass through Detroit in the episode.
