Surely a great antagonist, can't wait for his inevitable haunting backstory and possibly twisted reasons for his actions against the Cabin g… moreroup.
Even his theme just screams "I'm a villain and I know it."

Not sure if this is a deliberate trend, but #YouHaveAGoodDayNow
Sounds like the Episode 2 trailer music. Although it could be his theme. Like how In the Water had a "Clementine" remix for trailer one, so could be seen as her theme. I don't know.

This one sounds cool though I have to admit.
Keep the thread going! we need Carver to not just be a villain, to be a potential ally too!
these episodes are made, so if this gets popular, TTG might make him be more than just a new 'villain', if he isn't already.
Carver has some redeeming traits, he obviously cares about his child and it's future, as well as his own group, i'm still wishing he would of told me why I shouldn't trust the cabin group.
I can certainly appreciate his motivations, but as it was proven during Season 1, you don't exactly need to rule your group through fear or intimidation.

Look guys, maybe it's my Clem survival instinct but...I'm gonna have to kill him, I think we all will. Sure, he's an interesting character and I'm liking him as a villian. But yeah, I'm gonna have to take him out, because of him...Clem never got to celebrate Christmas. A crime most foul...punishment? Salt lick.
I agree with the others in this thread. Shaping up to be an excellent villain. He's a boss through and through. Definitely projects the aura of a tough-as-nails survivor who is the baddest guy on the block. It's very believable how a "follower" like Bonnie, and even strong-willed people, wind up following a man like Carver.
When I look at Carver and how his people follow him, it always reminds me of this quotation:
Whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? It may be answered that one should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, is much safer to be feared than loved, when, of the two, either must be dispensed with...
— Niccolo Machiavelli, The Prince, Chapter 17
Of course, Carver's fatal mistake might be that he didn't heed the second part of Machiavelli's point:
Nevertheless a prince ought to inspire fear in such a way that, if he does not win love, he avoids hatred; because he can endure very well being feared whilst he is not hated.

Carver's shaping up to be a great antagonist. One of those antagonists that have power and authority, and seem invincible despite being just as.. uh.. "vincible" as everybody else.

Poor Carlos...
So... is #YouHaveAGoodDayNow a thing?
I thought that this was his theme, you know, the song called "Carver"?
Hell yes.

Got my up vote. Though I care little about Sarah and more about teaming up with Kenny and Carver.
I know, I'm an evil son of a bitch.
The trailer was fucking beautiful!

I just figure, its a good incentive to protect the other minor, as you and her are probably the only living kids in the state.
I agree, you don't need to, but i'm giving him a chance.
Bump for the night
Honestly, that's the way some people play. Good on you.
THIS IS FOR WILLIAM CARVER
William would be proud.
Bump
As someone who likes this guy, I guess it's my turn to bump the thread.

Yeah... Carver definitely isn't a good guy.
He is willing to kill a pregnant woman's husband without hesitation
He tortured a dad all while his daughter was watching
He isn't afraid to pistol smack a child and hold her at gunpoint
First chance I get I'm going to kill him.

Down-vote? Really? Not even a reason why....
We must have a modern-day Frederick the Great in the crowd, ladies and gents... =/
He is great as a villian
