Why is there no Wii U version?

I'm not a Wii U owner, but a fair few people are, and I as well as probably quite a few Wii U owners are wondering why Telltale has done nothing for the system, Walking Dead is on so many systems now, Xbox, PS3 and the PC make sense, they are big sellers, maybe even the Ipod. But the Ouya? Vita? Are these really flying off the markets quick enough that you can justify a version on those systems over this console?

If I'm phrasing this like it's required and I'm demanding, I apologise, I'm just curious and asking on behalf of my friend and my own general curiosity. If any of you guys have an idea as to why the Wii U never got a version please share

  • Wow walking dead is on Ouya didn't know that. That console is dead too. Only reason I can think why TWD is on Ouya is because it's sort of in the iOS group of things.

  • Wii U is a failure and porting it to Ouya is smart compared to Wii U.

No offense to Wii U owners but Wii U was a failure waiting to happen and any developer worth their wait in gold wouldn't touch that shit with gloves. Why is there no walking dead for Wii U? The same reason there is no Sleeping dogs, Grand theft auto 5, Tomb raider, Bio shock infinite, Max payne 3 and a lot of the other big 3rd party titles because developers don't want to make games for the Wii U as they didn't put faith in it from the giddy up.

  • I have a wiiU... Somewhere... In the back of my closet... hmmm... Maybe it got stolen O well XD

  • Wii and Wii U are pretty shit so...no.

  • What the hell is a "Ouya"?

  • If they tried, it could be great. If the choices were on the gamepad, so the tv screen just plays the episode, with the choices on the gamepad. I would buy it.

  • The only reason the WiiU is dead, is because of the name, the Wii was just kinda BAD, it spat on the future of controlling games by moving your arms around, it tried to take advantage of a new technology, and did it horribly. Now that the WiiU is out, people see the "Wii" in the name, and assume it is bad, sometimes talking trash about it when they don't even own one. I have one, and it is actually more than half decent, plus the youtube works in the browser a lot better than other consoles, it works better than the APP on most consoles.

  • Me too.

  • I guess TTG is not much of a Nintendo fan.

  • hell no. it'd be a big waste of time for all of us. Literally nobody plays the wii u anyways and it'd be a waste of money. Wii u is more kid friendly than mature so telltale is smart they picked consoles that teens+ usually use.

and also, who the hell would want nintendo fans in here?

  • Real life emojis are terrifying D:

What the hell is a "Ouya"?

  • Whats wrong with Nintendo fans? They aren't all 9 year olds.
