Something I asked myself...

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

... since Pete's death in episode 2:
Would I have rather had Pete survive at the cost of Nick's life (if Telltale had made the game like that), or do I prefer the way things played out (Nick survives and Pete dies no matter what).
Honestly, I can't decide for myself. I do love Uncle Pete's character, but then again, Nick has also grown on me a lot. What about you?

  • Pete was a badass and i loved his character, but his death was needed to develop the other characters and their relationships!

  • I would rather have had Pete....his death made me cry....RIP Peter Joseph Randall, the badassest, badass there ever was

And Alvin...(he died in my playthough:)

The only reason why i let Nick survive is because i promised uncle Pete to watch out for him, before he sacrificed himself to save my life!

  • I'd much prefer to have Pete. He was just a general nice guy and I think Clem looked up to him or something.

  • Where do you get his full name from?

  • If you go with Nick at the end of episode 1 and accept the drink he offers you at the beginning of episode 2, he'll say "To Peter Joseph Randall, the nicest mean old bastard I ever knew."

  • Damn fine man that Alvin
