I think so. We saw Luke turning back on some of his decisions because of Clem's opinion. Decisions that proved successful. Kenny knows Clementine since she was 8, so he knows the "little, sweet, takecaring" part of her. Maybe this fact can lead him to distrust her, thinking about what is safer for her (if he really want to replace Duck with Clem).
Luke, instead, has known the "though" Clem. He's more inclined to do what she says.
Easy decision - Luke. Why? Because Kenny is too much "We do as I say". I wasn't shocked when it was revealed that he is mystery person. It w… moreas nice to see him again, but I still think that he should die rescuing someone in S2. He "died" as a hero in Season One. Maybe the reason of such thoughts is that I couldn't agree with Kenny after ep.2 in S1 most of the time. I don't know. I just think that Luke is the right person for Clem to be with right now(besides Christa ofcourse).
P.S. Sorry for my English.
It's too early for this... I have no idea right now... If it really comes down to saving one of them... I'll do the first thing that comes to mind... It all depends on what happens from now on, in the next episodes. It depends on how my Clementine is going to feel about them, how's she going to react to whatever happens... So many things can happen! Now I can't make any decision. It's awful to choose between two people no matter who they are. It was hard for me to choose which table to sit at! Deciding who lives and who dies it's just... awful. Even if I choose one right now, my decision may change after future episodes, so... For now, I just want to get to know them better, especially to see how damaged Kenny actually is.
Honestly...probably Luke. I love Kenny, don't get me wrong, but Kenny was Lee's companion and that story arc has ended. After losing Lee, I feel like taking a new route with new people would be more interesting. Besides, I really like Luke too. He does seem a little secretive at some points, but I feel like he really cares for Clem and honestly, Clem needs someone closer to her own age. I understand Luke isn't nearly as young as she is, but he is closer than Kenny. I also feel like Luke knows Clementine as she is now better than Kenny knows her - and since Lee took her under his wing the entire first season, I assume Kenny didn't get much of a chance to really get to know her back then either.
I couldn't get over another Kenny-is-dead thing. The one in season 1 made me depressed enough. I will stick to Kenny even if he becomes a psychopath lol.
Shit ... Guys i think we 're gonna have to do this choice in the episode 3 i think because look in the picture of omid the ruins well wee can see in the left a silhouette . and "depending on your choice"(i don't actually know if it's true) it'll change and in one of those pictures in the left someone have got the silhouette of kenny
Right now? Kenny. My Lee never liked him but I think Clem wants to be with someone that she really knows. And I want xp Maybe I will change my mind until it happens (i doubt it will) but now Luke is just a guy and Kenny is a man who made it through a pretty big herd in Savannah and he still has his had on xb And he seems to start coming back to normal. I hope so.
Well if you want to talk about being reckless. Kenny is pretty darn reckless. He just shot Carvers guy even though he had hostages and I told him not to. I think Luke would have been more careful instead of just trying to shoot all of Carvers group by himself. I think Luke is following and is going to help them bust out later on. Kenny acts on emotions and sometimes impulse. I think Luke thinks things through a little more, maybe not a lot but more. The way be handled the situation on the bridge was smart. How he got Clementine to talk to Matthew. He played on the emotions and nature of a person he didn't know. But at the same time he was ready in case it got dangerous. I don't know who I would pick it depends on the situation. But right now I really like Luke.
He says it was stupid but it was fun. I suppose you're right though, there is no reason to believe he still likes jumping rooftops. Still,… more from the information we have been given about the cabin group so far, I have my doubts about Luke. If Luke left the group, Carver has no reason to lie to them. He has no reason to get them not to trust Luke if Luke isn't with them any more and he seems to think Luke abandoned them. He says he told them they shouldn't have followed Luke, so clearly Luke has some faults that would make Carver have that opinion of him. Don't get me wrong, I like his character and I think he's a good person, I don't think he abandoned the group, but I think he might be a bit reckless. Or maybe he just trusts Clementine a lot. I have no proof he's reckless right now, so I hope more information about the cabin group is revealed next episode.

This is too damn hard right now. I'll have to wait and see what they do in the following episodes before I make a decision. I mean, Kenny is still a great guy but he's probably gonna get pretty arrogant. Luke however, is new and we don't know much about him. So, to be honest, I'm not siding with either of them just yet, it's up to what they do later.
Touche. I still think Luke is more reckless than Kenny, Kenny is less willing to put his friends in harm's way(in harm's way lol). Kenny makes a lot of stupid decisions, but not a lot of reckless decisions. For instance, in s1e2 it might not have been the best choice to smash Larry's head with a salt lick, but it was certainly the least dangerous choice, in s1e3 leaving the girl to be eaten by zombies as bait wasn't the best choice from a moral standpoint, but it was a smarter and safer choice, his plans are actually usually pretty good plans, just if one of his plans fails he doesn't know when to give up on it. Though his decision making skills became shit for a while after Duck got bit. xD
So far Luke has shown to be selfless and brave, but the only plan I've seen him come up with(at the bridge) would have failed miserably if Clementine was a normal little girl, getting both himself and Clementine killed. Luckily she's Clementine so it was a success. d:

Luke. Don't get me wrong, I am glad we got reunited with Kenny, but I really hated it when he went into the "either-you-are-with-me-or-you're-not" mode on Lee.
Unless Kenny turns into a total loony or manages to do something completely awful again (like the meat locker room scene), I'd probably choose him as we go back further.
I'm surprised at how Telltale handled Luke's character. Aparently for most people (including me) Luke is just as likable as Kenny, just by knowing him for 2 episodes.

The way I see it is, "Lee" had this bond with Kenny. If Lee were still here, I would choose Kenny over any other person. Kenny was my boy in season one. I had his back in all decisions and he had my back at the very end. But, we aren't in Lee's shoes anymore. We are experiencing the world as an 11 year old girl who didn't have that type of bond with him. Yes, he was around, but Clem's real relationship was with Lee. And, yes, I was happy to see Kenny! (It was in my happiness and not necessarily Clems.) I think Clem and this new group could really bond together as a family. Luke is a big brother to Clem and I hope it stays that way. So, I would choose Luke. BUT things might change. TT likes to toss us curve balls, and Luke might end up being the bad guy in all this. IDK, it's only episode two. We'lll just have to wait and see
As much as I like Kenny, a complex character that means well & seems to care about Clementine, unless something in future episodes changes my mind I would have to choose Luke. I fear that Kenny is still a bit unstable & that another loss might send him over the edge. Luke & Clem also seem to "click" better together in my playthrough of episode 2. Furthermore, there are too many times in Season 1 that Kenny only seemed friendly if you were a "yes man" ALL the time. I'd rather not go through that nonsense again...
I agree. I was one hundred percent pro-Kenny in season one ( minus dropping Ben). He was smart enough to not let the whole group pass at once knowing that an ambush could be waiting. But if you think about it Luke and Clem were already in danger. They were on a bridge with a guy with a rifle. I think Luke found a smart way to deal with the hand he was delt but at the same time was ready. He didn't want to force the situation into a more dangerous one by instantly pulling his gun. Plus I think he knew Clem wasn't "normal" after the shed . Haven't really known him long enough yet to be sure. But you gotta admit Kenny acts way quicker than Luke. I feel like if was Kenny on the bridge instead of Luke there would have been some sort of Mexican standoff. Kenny sees gun, so he points his gun and Mattew has no a option but to point his in self defense. Eventually Kenny shoots Mattew. Bottom line Kenny will act fast with plans that are pretty good. Luke may take longer but I think his plans are good for staying safe and not getting in unneeded fights/confrontation.

Thus, Clem is the only one who can help help him move on. So, Kenny, that may change but I won't give up on Kenny until its proven I can't help him.

Oops. Ignore this. Sorry
"Omid the ruins?" Freudian slip, much?

Pff. Kenny. What's wrong with you people?
For all we know Luke's not only a giant wuss but hiding track marks and a lust for serial arson.

Okay so, the easiest solution is to turn the game off at that point. Both of them live!
But seriously though, fuck.. I don't know, too early to say.
As of now I'd pick Kenny but then again... Maybe Luke?
God damn it, I don't know!
haha, ive got to admit this was funny! thanks for not thrashing out and throwing curs words and jerk words at me though
i would save luke because i dont like the new kenny, he has changed, its wered. as much as id hate to say it, its like i dont know him anymore.
"Katjaa" see that alikir34 still misses Omid?
Unless Kenny turns into a total loony or manages to do something completely awful again (like the meat locker room scene), I'd probably choose him as we go back further.
Now it would be Luke BUT this can change, we'll see
sry guys ...It just came out ,The Feels are still here ya know
(remind of kenny saying "pass me that can duck")
I'm surprised at how Telltale handled Luke's character. Aparently for most people (including me) Luke is just as likable as Kenny, just by knowing him for 2 episodes.
If Telltale continues to handle Luke's character well. Episode 5 wont be as hard of a decision as we think it is now.
Yeah. I have to admit, i was REALLY worried about season 2, i didn't think they could create characters so likable in this season.
Seems like Telltale hasn't lost it's magic touch.
Count me in! Leave us alone!

Anyone else suspect Carver is going to force us to make a really unpleasant decision in episode 3?
i'm guessing that's the ending, thankfully giving us more information on both characters a lil more

Kenny. No question. Now if it were Kenny or Nick...
I will no doubt choose luke if kenny will remain in the "you're either be my bitch,or against me" attitude like what he was when lee still alive
Honestly, I'm still surprised the PR people are allowed to give us such massive hints regarding the future EPs.
Not that I'm complaining.
I would eat my pizza rather than save it..... okay now I don't think that sounds right. See ya!
As said in a different thread this just means one thing... After picking Pizza, Pizza dies in the next episode...
