I noticed something about Bonnie
Bonnie from the Season 2 looks younger than Bonnie from 400 Days. I think 400 days happened after season 2 after all carver thing.

Yep. When you stop taking hard drugs your face usually improves.
Well she was a drug addict back then and no season 2 is after 400 days
Wow, you're right. I hadn't paid attention.
I think it's because she's fully recovering from her drug addiction now. Makes sense that she'd look a lot more youthful.
She probalby just overcomed her drug problem.
It could be a marketing decision. If it was, Elle will probably be a major character in the rest of of TWD S2.
But it was probably an oversight by somebody. Telltale isnt exactly known for their attention to detail.
it's because she's recovering from drug addiction. and no, 400 days isn't after season 2. day 400 is about a year and a few months into the apocalypse. season 2 is at least 2.5 years in.
Yea... or maybe she overcame her drug addiction.
Wat? Who is Elle?
Yeah, I wonder where her smoker wrinkles went, though. I've never met a druggie without smoker wrinkles. Even past druggies.
Side effect of the infection I guess. Idk.
Maybe she just can rest more in a safe place then running all day from the walkers and other survivors in 400 days.
Meant Bonnie. Apologies.
Weird.
I get how some of her wrinkles have disappeared but what the hell happened to her freckles Telltale? It just hit me that was the other thing that seemed off about her face.
Yes the strange man who attacked Clem went forward in time before when he died and met up with Bonnie and his wife and they lived happily ever after (well his wife didn't).
She's been using this super good wrinkle cream. Try it, it'll change your life.
Must also be because she stopped using drugs.
"Try it, it'll change your life"
DONT TAKE DRUGS, KIDS. mmmmKEY?
Nah, the freckles are still there, it's just that they're hard to see in this image.
If you find a close-up, you'll see them
I can faintly see the freckles from the picture provided.
She revored from the drug addiciton and now she's not leaving like a scavenger, she problably has way more stuff to take care off her self
Yeah, imagine her in one of those teleshopping adverts.
Mandatory Mr.Mackey video is required:
thanks, mmkey?
Probably a revised design, along with her clothes. A bit like Christa and Omid had revised designs in episode 1, as well as Ken in Episode 2.
Other than his beard, Kenny looks younger, too. Due to the art direction in season 2, eyes are sometimes larger (especially pupils), and more saturated and reflective in general, and skin is smoother.
I can very faintly see the same wrinkles too.
Mkhay.
Just because you stop using a drug does not make the wrinkles go away. Your health will improve - i.e., your lungs will eventually return to normal a decade or so after quitting smokes, your liver will get better if you stop drinking, your cardiovascular system will be less strained if you stop smokes/alcohol/cocaine, et cetera - but let this be a stern warning to all you youngin's that drugs accelerate aging and you can't reverse the effects it has on your skin, or take back the years you lost through the strain on your body.
tl;dr: JakeSt123 is right. It's just a revised design.
She was a druggie, She just got off them. She's not that old at all. Probably in her early to mid to late twenties.
From a story based explanation, it's probably due to Bonnie's drug addiction recovery. I'm not sure about the eyebrows though. They do look different to me with the pictures provided in the OP's description. It could be a tiny oversight in her revised design, but I'm just nitpicking now.
The redesigns have never been this oddly noticeable until now. I'm pretty sure they made her face cleaner looking to represent that she's past her addiction, even if it doesn't make sense to some. I myself thought she looked better thanks to getting off the drugs. Telltale are not really renowned for their homework skills anyway. As many people have corrected them for mistakes (latest example revolving around that Chess fiasco).
How do you guyz know that she was drug addicted? any proof?
Marijuana clearly causes freckles, don't do it kids
Leland says "When we found you , you were so hooked up on that stuff(drugs)" also Dee says "you fucking junkie"
I simply assume it's because she is no longer on drugs.
Dee calls her a junkie in her 400 Days story. Also Leland makes references to her being addicted to something.
In Telltale's mind, it was probably to show that she was no longer addicted, even though it doesn't make sense.
Same as how when Carver looks at the chess board and says "three moves 'till checkmate." It was meant to show how smart he was, but in reality, that chessboard couldn't actually have gotten a checkmate in three moves(someone put it through a computer, it's literally impossible).
Basically, the drug thing is probably right, and telltale just didn't do their homework. ._.
in reality, it's more because Telltale just didn't know it was inaccurate before making the design decision.
