To be completely honest i'd rather have her dead than to play her as protaganist in season 4, if the series go on for that long ofcourse. Because i still feel like playing a little girl seems so off for this game. Every task becomes harder and most people treat you differently because you are so much younger. No, i want the Lee-kind of feel back, not necessarily with the same personality, but with having control over an adult rather than a child. Every character in 400 days felt fine, and Clementine does that as well for the most part. But as soon as you speak to someone that doesn't see you as anyone else it feels strange, and i just don't like that kind of feeling. I know i'm among the few that isn't a Clementine fanatic but you at least have to agree with me that the whole gameplay feeling is not the same as it was before.
Yes, she doesn't have to be invincible unlike the RE main characters but promoting her as the PC back to the sidekick again? This is sooo like MGS2 all over again -_-
Agreed, and i doubt that Telltale actually changes their story depending on what they read on the forums, they might change minor things like how a person is acting towards another or break the habit of a person having a typical behavior. However we are more or less discussing on how/when/why and if Clementine dies rather than signing a petition.

(I think if someone at TTG decided it was a good idea to kill off Clem, the private investors who fund TTG might go full Carver. Telltale railroads the players, money railroads Telltale.)
"Why yes, Sony, Microsoft, and Valve. We are including rape or implied rape of a child in our game. We'd quite like to be banned from your respective stores forever, thanks."

Stupid idea!
I hail to TellTale they are not afraid to kill anybody during the game. If Clementine dies I'll be the saddest guy in the world cannot stop crying of course. But it's really important to understand that such things CAN happen while playing.
Let me explain. When I played episode 2, Carver took Carlos as hostage to force Kenny to drop his weapon and surrender. If I remember right in this scene you can choose try to attack Carver or not and I thought "Ha, Clementine is a main person! No doubt TT do not allow her to die, let's try to attack Carver!"
I think this is not a way gamer should think while it makes a decision! Creators and scenario writers MUST make me trust that every person can die, no matter how I love them... It makes my decisions much genuine and sincere.
Yeah if it does go to season four, Clementine could be in her 20's or 30's possibly, maybe she has to take on the parental figure Lee did in season one with her own kid.
No. You know why this would be horrible for the game if we made decisions? We all would have voted to keep Lee alive. As much as I loved his character and teared up at the end of the first season, it was because we felt so much emotion throughout the story as well as the end. That is what made the game so great.
but you at least have to agree with me that the whole gameplay feeling is not the same as it was before.
Yeah on some points I do agree. But rather have her dead???
This is to both of you: Why would they skip so much ahead? It's been 3 years in 2 seasons. While the skips in season 1 was only 3 months. I feel they wont do too much skips and even if they do, how would she end up in her 30's? Zombie Apocalypse survivor for 22+ years?

Fucking THANK YOU. The way of describing it like that even gives me an insight that i didn't think of before. However as a protagonist i'd doubt we'll ever get to feel helplessness to survive unless it's episode 4 or 5. I mean let's say Lee died at the St.Johns, it'd just be weird. But i do want it to be this way. Also more non-canon deaths for Clementine, that'd be a good implemention. Instead of just not managing to kill walkers, make her get shot by carver for example, or even more crucial, by Kenny when he tries to save her.

Killing the Main Character again would be a waste and repetitive.
As I already said on some threads, I think that Season 2 will go full Mass Effect 2 and give a lot of possibilities about who survives or dies, including the Clementine.
LOL I'm sorry but my sentiments exactly to your previous comment. I say let the writers and developers be free to do however they please to THEIR own characters that they have created and developed whether it be in the video game, television series, or comic books. Its no fun if the fan masses force them to conduct the stories in their personal favor just because they'd have sour grapes and be butt hurt about what happen to their beloved characters. I admit I love Clementine, Kenny, Lee, Rick (TV show version) and Daryll as characters and but I would not get insane if they died. I felt Shane (TV show version) was an awesomely developed character but did not mind if they felt he had to go by the end of season 2 of the tv show. People are just too seriously and attached to these fictional medias only meant for entertainment purposes. As though they are really related or romantically involved with these characters. If they kill off Clem it would kind of suck like with Lee but I'd understand that it was their story that TellTale wanted to Tell not ours. Same with the writers of the show on AMC and Kirkman with his book from Skybound or Image Comics and so forth. So yeah I had to give you a thumb up for that one. And I know I'd be getting down thumb for this one but I feel that this is how story telling should be. Let the creators do as they wish and we as the critics give our thoughts and opinions later as the commentators from the peanut gallery.
Another one of these fucking things REALLY ? Do you really think Telltale is actually going to pay attention to any of these pathetic petitions. Yea Clem's a great character, but this is The Walking Dead, and if Telltale thinks it's her time to go, and it's better for the story if she dies, then good. No one lives forever, if you want to get salt if they kill a character you like fine, but don't try and force storytellers to tell their story your way.
Yes, it should be like in Tarantino's blockbuster - several random events, few little things you will never attach importance to, but then BANG BANG and a half of main characters are already died
I mean I do not like when good people are dying even if they are cartoon, but perception of the fact they CAN immediately die because of my stupid and dangerous decision allows me to be honest and sincere in my choice.
Fucking THANK YOU. The way of describing it like that even gives me an insight that i didn't think of before. Petition, really? Oh lord, that's so stupid. You guys are starting to look like these TWD TV show's fanboys that keep saying " If they kill Daryl we riot ", " If they kill this character I'll stop watching".Jesus guys, slow the fuck down,Telltale know what they are doing.

Just let them do their jobs. If they read or listen this pointless petition thingy we might ruin TWD's future
Nah, its cool bro ;D

If they kill her off then at least let us play as Kenny.
As i mentioned earlier, if Kenny or Luke makes it to season 3 i think there's good chances of getting to play them as protaganists
That explains it... Respect brotha
I think Kenny should become the new playable character and Clem be his friend like with Lee. So she doesn't have to die.
Yeah on some points I do agree. But rather have her dead???
Dear Telltale, please don't bankrupt yourself.
Love, the playerbase.

If the series lasts to Season 4, she probably won't be a child anymore...
Stupid idea!

Strange I mentioned that I spoil Season 2, Episode 2 but it shows Season 1, Episode 2...
I can handle her dying in a later season and with the right kind of death but she should definitely live longer than two seasons in my opinion.

As terrible it sounds, yes. I'd cry like a bitch but i'd rather have that then playing as a child another season.

It's possible I never said they would.
And you have given up, on Clem, on everyone! ( after a long and intense discussion an epic fight began)

watch your mouth
Oh yea, people are dumb enough to think this will actually change anything. Also the cause is dumb, they're trying to tell Telltale how to write.
"Well I'd appreciate if you'd fuck off."
Better?

Ah, didn't get the reference, then?
with fish and chips on the side would you like that?
"Just stopped by for the chips, then?"
nono no i sayed with fish and chips because i know you starve every day and your parents beat you if you don't steal food
