I don't know why I torture myself.... :'(

I just get so bored some days, and I watch TWD Season 1. Then, of course, I get to Episode 5 and cry like crazy all over again. This happen to anyone else?

i'd say don't if it makes you cry :P . i dunno how some people still cry after this much time, after a while you get kinda immune to it (like me :P)

  • Up until around the 23rd time of watching/playing, I stopped crying. You'll get over it soon :)

  • it is of course very emotional, but remember ... it's still "just" a game

  • I don't cry until Take Us Back starts playing.

  • It's always "Armed With Death" that gets me. It's Lee's second to last moment of badassery.

  • Don't worry about it, we are all masochists here. You're one of us.

I don't cry while playing video games ever. I mean sometimes they make me emotional and others I can appreciate how well done certain scenes were, but I've never shed tears. In recent memory at the end of The Last of Us, where Joel is carrying an unconscious Ellie while the flashlights shine behind him, the red emergency lights flashing and that beautiful soundtrack... easily one of the best, if not THE best scene of the game for me. Anyway, back to TWD.

  • Only 23? You have a heart of stone!

  • Man, if HE has a heart of stone... ME... I have a heart of TITANIUM. I stopped crying at 18 playthroughs

  • I don't outright cry (though I cried my eyes out the first time I went through Episode 5, at pretty much everything) but I do get a bit choked up every time Lee and Clem enter the jewelry store. Every time. Lee was one of the best...

  • Well it IS the only game/movie that made me legitimately cry in the first place :P

The series finale of Spartacus made me cry. The series finale of Six Feet Under made me cry, probably as much as the jewelry store scene in EP5. The intro to The Last Of Us almost made me cry.

  • The beginning of TLOU honestly didn't make me shed a tear, but I was still depressed. I did tear up a bit when Sam and Henry died.

  • Yeah, i think so.

  • It might be, but most people get attached to the characters and story none-the-less. In fact I'd guess many people came into the game expecting and hoping to cry, subconsciously or not. :p

  • If you don't choose "Don't be afraid" you're not part of the master race.

  • I've watched like 15-20 different walkthroughs, but I don't cry when I get to the ending...it's probably because I'm already expecting it and I'm just watching it happen instead of actually experiencing it. Looks like I don't have a heart compared to everyone else... D=!

  • Add some wild hair on his head and face and then those two would look like Lee.

  • I tried to find that phrase but it wasn't there, so "I'll miss you" become a good substitute.

  • Heh, I picked that on my second playthrough but either way it's still a very emotional scene.

  • Sup TWDFan86 been a while, and damn bro that's a lot of feels! Do you think S2 will be able to top S1's ending?

  • Hai Lee! Uhhh, I don't know. I hope it does! :)

  • Here's hoping it does, I'm sure TTG can come up with something good!
