Well before they released episode one of Season 1, they had that final scene with Clementine's goodbye to Lee written before writing the res… moret of the story. I'm certain this applies to Season 2 as well.
I have no idea how this season is going to end. I don't know if Clementine is going to die or if she's going to live. If they decide not to do a third season, I just hope to God they don't end Season 2 with another cliffhanger.
Lee's was awesome and he died like a fucking champ. If Clementine's story is coming to an end, she deserves a proper farewell.
Exactly ! Whether we like it or not something has to happen at the end for us to know there's gonna be Season 3, If its a Cliffhanger I guess we'll find out.
Others have mentioned it, but the series is a gravy train. I really can't see them stopping, not when everyone is so invested emotionally. If the rest of the season is as good or better than A House Divided it should definitely win Game of the Year, and that'll attract even more fans. I just can't see them sidelining it, and I hope they don't.

I agree, I don't see a reason why they should stop making this game We love it and pay for it and Telltale enjoys making the game as well and generating cash out of this, Its a win-win situation for both sides we're gonna have Clem for a while what sucks is the 2 years or so wait between each season

Well it was only about a year between Season 1 and 2. November 2012 was when No Time Left was released, and All That Remains was released December 2013. There'll also probably be a DLC in-between. Sure it's about two years between the total completion time of the seasons, but if episodes are being released in that time frame like how it is now, then it's not too bad I don't think.

Oh I know, the waits are awful, but like you just said, they keep up the quality run they have going and it'll always be worth the wait. I have very high hopes for Telltale and TWD, and I hope they realize their full potential.
Clem basically is the game. From episode 1 you are molding her character based on your words and actions. Beyond that, you are right, it's the emotional connection we have with Clem that keeps us coming back, heartbreak after heartbreak.
Clementine basically IS and always WAS the purpose of the game. In Season 1 you were protecting her and teaching her how to survive we played a big role in her growth as a survivor and a human being , Now we play as her which is basically more pressure on us to make sure nothing happens to her.

Precisely, and it has me hook, line, and sinker. Remove this from the formula and I doubt I'll have the same emotional bond. I might still play, but the impact will be nothing in comparison.

I think even though she's young that that has already begun, but I know what you mean. I think it's a possibility, because the attachment to the character by the fans is there. At this point I want nothing more for Clem than to see her survive, and to see the person she becomes, and I think that's pretty much the general consensus.
If the game is still good I'll keep playing no doubt about it, But like you said the emtional effect will NEVER be the same we've grown attached to this little girl.

The gameplay will probably remain roughly the same, so they just need to keep having heavy hitting choices and good writing. I don't think that should be to much of a problem for them really, based on what we have so far.

I don't put too much emphasis on gameplay specially on a point-and-click game, Just give me a well written story and some good characters with time to develop and I'll stick around for a while.

Lee's death served to push Clem's story ahead. He had redeemed himself, and saved Clem and taught her to survive. Lee played a vital role in her story, but I actually expected Lee to die since episode 1.

Im not the only then... Well to be honest I always had that thought but the scene in the Train where you teach her how to shoot and cut her hair pretty much confirmed it for me for some reason.

It was episode 2 for me when I really confirmed with myself that it was inevitable, when Lee mentions he'll do anything to protect her. I think that was during your namesake scene actually lol. It also felt like serious foreshadowing when Chuck is telling you she needs to be prepared if something happens to you. Then when you actually teach her how to survive it was like putting up neon signs.

Agreed, I think it plays a little smoother this season. It's still a bit laggy on PS3, but even that has improved immensely. There were times in season 1 where I thought my system froze it would take so long to load between scenes. The longest it's taken this season is maybe 10 seconds, tops 20.

If Season 2 is successful enough or the Walking Dead franchise hits a VERY high point some time in the future, then TWD the Game could go on for a awhile. But still if we do see Season 2 ending the series, then I want a conclusion to at Clementine's story. Maybe if she's alive by the end she might be able to meet up with Rick or something like that in the Comic.
I don't think Telltale would just stop making their best game, Why would they ? We want and pay for it and they have fun making the game and get their cash.

You're lucky, because it could be game breaking on PS3. Sometimes the dialog would run while the screen was black, and the animation would be behind the dialog. It was pretty lame, but season 2 has seemed to improve on it a lot. It isn't perfect, but it's so much better than before.

Then how are we going to know if there'll be a season 3 or not?
oh god maybe episode 5 will come out on my birthday in Late August!
I see where you got your pic from.

That would be a hell of a present right ?

Agreed, because she is the heart and soul of the game.

I've said this before, I think Clementine is gonna be their franchise protagonist for seasons to come.

I sure hope so. It would be very pointless to take any other route.
Its still a looong year or so but still, If they continue this great run I'll wait years.

Some people think they may change protagonists every once in a while, That's BS Clem is a big part of this game's success.

Goddamit Eddie lol... :P
You brought it up lol.

Can you imagine if we keep playing as Clementine and get to witness her slowly becoming a woman ?
Yeah but if someone loves this more than me, That's you :P
Just the fact that it's actually a thing kills me.

Indeed, I just hope Telltale is smart enough to understand Lee needed to die, Clementine doesn't. There's a fine line between realism and fatalism.

I'm all about the story as well, it's what keeps me coming back above all else.

Exactly ! And the gameplay has improved this Season so maybe they keep getting better at that too.

Good ol' Chuck came clutch with his prediction... " And if something were to happen to you"

It always runs smoothly on ios so I don't have that problem.

He was right, and it's a good thing he brought it up.
