Clemetine suicide will you do it?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

If there was one option at the end of the season 2 game you can do suicide will you do it?
I dont want Clem die of course and I dont think this will happen but... Will you do it?
You can't survive this world. You try to protect what and who you love but at the end... If I was standing in Clems shoes I was probably dead!
I will do everything to protect her... But at the end you cant save yourself and who you love.

  • Depends on the situation. If it saves her from a long, drawn out death from a herd or something then I'd take the easy way out. But maybe she could pull a Kenny.

  • If Clem was bitten, and it was to late to amputate the bodypart, then I would do it. But my Clem wouldn't just give up. You have to keep fighting. A zombie apocolypse is hard for everyone, but if all people gave up, then the whole human race would die

  • Tough question.

I guess that would require more thinking time that TTG usually gives us in dialogues.

  • If she gets bitten (and I hope she doesn't) yeah,I'd do that. But first,I want her to kick walker's candy asses. Armed With Death style.

  • I'd rather die with my boots on like good old uncle Pete. He went down swinging, and did what he could to save Clem.

actually the human race is already doomed. You think positive and I like positive

  • Katjaa gave up, but that doesn't mean, that everyone else will give up too. The human race isn't doomed. Sooner or later somone would be born with a mutation, which made them immune to a waler bite, or maybe even to the virus already inside them. But until then, people just have to survive, and make sure, that new babies will be born

  • The way I see it, you fight to the very end.

If you have to kill yourself, I go out like a hero, or doing as much good as I can, like what Kenny did (or even T-Dog from the t.v show)

If you give up on living for yourself, at least make the last moments you are here helping the people you care about.

So I would sacrifice myself for Kenny and kill myself that way, but I wouldn't pull a Katjaa and just off myself.

  • If she was trapped, maybe she could pull a Kenny and escape? The way I see it is, you go down fighting. You don't kill yourself if you're trapped, you fight through it with that hope you can get out of it alive. But if she's bit, I'd try to do something, maybe sacrifice myself to save someone?
I'm sure Kenny didn't think he was going to survive, but he still pushed through. That's what I admire the most about Kenny, he has NOTHING to look forward too. Katjaa, Duck, and basically everyone he knew is dead, yet he pushes on. But I wouldn't do what Katjaa did and just give up. I'd stick to it 'till the very end and know I went down fightin' than just plain committing suicide.

  • Thanks... Miss Katjaa really. I never saw it coming

  • Think about this situation. While your at Carvers camp you have time to talk to each character. One Character in particular is Nate. Clem and Nate are talking and Nate pulls out his gun and gives clem that crazy look with his eyes. But then He Pops a bullet out the gun and says " We don't last forever in this world kid..* Hands Clem the Bullet* you might need it one day". Fast forward to Episode 5 and Clems surrounded by walkers and The bullet stays in her inventory to the left of your screen throughout the season. Shes crawling backwards and reachs an office similar to where lee died. She closes the door with her foot and the zombies are still coming breaking through the window and falling in. Crawling all the way to the back wall shes fired every bullet in her gun and it gives you the option to reach in your pocket to get the bullet Nate gave you. You hurry and reload the bullet into the gun and it either says Shoot the Zombie or Shoot yourself. Either way you die but its an interesting situation on the topic

  • this question is illogical because clementine is my bae and she's not a noob

  • Well just put yourselves in such world being years in it.

  • Something like this could very well be the last choice in the game. I believe Telltale will kill Clem in the end, the only question is how. There are no happy endings in TWD.

  • nope, you don't just give up cause it's hard, you stick it out and you help the folks you care about.

Wise words from Kenny. Unless Clem was bit and it was too late to amputate or she was in a lose-lose situation, I'd hope she would believe in sticking it out until the end as well. I would never, ever make her commit suicide otherwise. Being there for the people you care about is more important than taking that route.

  • No. Just, no. I couldn't bring myself to do it. Just the thought that Clementine COULD live if she doesn't pull the trigger....just no. I couldn't' do it.

  • Well if you got to play as her in Heaven and she could talk with Lee den yea sure.

  • Clem: "I got lucky."

    Kenny: "Seems legit."

  • If it came down to that I would probably kill myself too a couple of days later.

  • Look at Lee, pulled one act of stupidity - ONE! - and it cost him his life. :(

  • "You gotta' be strong sweet pea. I need you to be strong."

  • Awww. Now I'm depressed. :(

I follow Chuck's 2 rules of dying in the zombie apocalypse:

    1. Always save the last bullet for yourself.
    2. If you're gonna go out, go out saving someone else.

M Clem is gonna go down swinging if she goes down at all. She'll never give up. Chuck gave his life to save her in Savannah, Lee died getting her back and Uncle Pete died to give her time to get to safety in my game. I'll keep trying to the bitter end, because as long as Clem never gives up, the people who died for her didn't truly die in vain.

  • I highly doubt that Telltale will even show a kid making suicide. It could provoke a major sh*tstorm from children rights organizations.

  • The fuck?

    No.

  • Nope, I'd stay alive as long as I could and raise a glass of rat juice to her memory.

SHE IS SO CUTE... CRYING AT THIS SCEEN THEY CANT KILL HER OFF

  • I think that telltale is going to put somethink like that: saving your group arrisking yourself (and propably die) or just go away and leave them.

  • No way, better kill someone else before Clem kills herself.
