Why did Matthew...*SPOILERS*

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

Why did Matthew live in the small station when he knew Sarita, Walter and Kenny? Why didn't he live with the others at the cabin? It's the zombie apocalypse, you don't just have 'neighbours', you have to stick together to survive. So, why did Matthew live in the station, specially if he had a relation with Walter?

  • I'm thinking he was just scouting and had a place to rest since he liked long walks.

  • I don't think he actually lived there. I think it's just where he keeps watch for most of the day to keep "assholes" from crossing the bridge and raiding the lodge.

  • ^ Agreed. Just an extra place to rest and keep supplies.

  • To watch the bridge if anyone tries to get through.

  • Hmm...are you an asshole?

so....anyone else wonder if we will see Matthew comeback as a walker? after all he was shot in the head

  • Luke: Are you saying I'm an asshole?

    Clem: I'm not an asshole.

  • (Nick comes out of nowhere and shoots Matthew)

Nick: Ah shit, did I come out too early?

  • It's possible, he was shot in the neck anyways and if he somehow manages to swim across the water beneath.

  • Well...they're bodies are basically rotten, but I'm not sure if that affects their ability to float.

  • As has been pointed out, the cabin was probably more of an outpost for him to rest at/work from since Walter mentions he liked to go hiking a lot.

  • Nick:Get to the fuckin river

  • Luke: Fuck off, Nick! You just ruined the script! Telltale's gonna fire us for sure! So much for your "screw-up role".

Nick: They can't fire me! They don't know where the fuckin' river is! And ya know, you gotta play a role, even if the ones you love hate you for it. So Telltale's just gonna have to deal with it.

TTG Staff: You do know the camera's still rolling right?

    Nick:Get to the fuckin river

  • He died from blood loss, from the fall or drowned. There's no way he could have survived. If he does comeback as a walker, he'll be drowning in the river for eternity.

I know he's dead :D I was just speculating how he could've swam all the way since he is a walker.

  • And I'm sure that Matthew if he turns he will float for weeks until he manages to actually get on shore. I'm just saying that it would be super unrealistic for Matthew to show up undead.f

Matthew liked to leave the ski lodge for days at a time. He actually had several places around the area that he regularly used as a place to stay.

  • "Hehe, nope definitely not."
