i don't buy this answer...Daryl will only be killed off when ratings maybe drop, same with Rick. He's fast becoming the George Lucas of his creation (not understanding one bit of it)
I like the show, I don't read the comics. The game and show has gone quit in different directions I think. Season 1 of show was the closest … moreit came to game in setting imo. I think game is better for this, it has this sense of mystery and exploration, going to CDC had that in season 1 maybe its back now in season 4 with Terminus and seperate groups. I think the show lacks likeable characters a bit, Rick was interesting in beginning but now hes quit messed up and almost insane, surprisingly I like Carl more and more. Game has nice characters like Clementine, Lee, it has its fun moments between the sad parts.
Not necessarily, that's why I pointed out Doug OR Carley. Because one of them dies in episode 1 when you have barely even gotten to know either of them and it can be Carley. The peak of her popularity isn't reached if you don't save her. d:
Well Carley may be a bad example. She died at the peak of her popularity...
But then it's not really how it works in the comics either. I… moret's more everyone dies eventually, popular or not, and they go when the plot requires it. The game is pretty similar to the comic in that respect.
No. Not at all. He's created a franchise that a lot of people love.
I shouldn't have said trolling since that's got too many negative connotations. I merely meant that i like his sense of humour and not everything he says should be taken at face value.
Is it? If it was the likes of Michonne and Jesus would be long gone. I'm not saying there's no truth in what he says, he'll want the readers to be invested in the characters before they die, but it's by no means a system of crossing off characters once they pass a threshold.
It's plainly obvious that its not really how it works.
I gave up on the comic a long time ago, but I've seen enough later issues and plot developments to know that pretty much is how it works.
Daryl has been my favorite character since his first episode, and I've only posted something involving him like three times. This, and two memes. As for him being an Alpha male, I don't agree with that. He's been following Merle and Rick his entire life. Being level headed does not equate into being a leader. Besides, he hasn't always been cool and collected, he spent most of season 1 in a rage lol. As for him blowing up the tank, the only part about that that was totally unrealistic was the walker shield. That was just no.
His fans as a collective group are obnoxious though, I can't refute that on any level. I personally thought that if they were to kill him off it would have been a good time to when he was asleep in the road, and the bandits offered him to join them. When the leader mentions hurting other people I expected Daryl to just off him, and get mowed down. I thought this since the entire episode Beth was trying to convince him he's a good person, and then when presented with hurting others, he knew he wasn't like that, and bam he dies. For me I can't see a more fitting death, but for now he remains, and his death will probably be stupid when it happens.
they are THE WORST! Fan-base I have ever seen...
At least they are not too many spread around this forum, which is a good thing. Still, we better put this matter to rest before any of them come down on us.
I only recently started watching the TV series on Netflix, but at least with regards to the TellTale series, I just assume everybody is going to die, because...for me, that's The Walking Dead. If a character doesn't die, I'm surprised. So usually, it's just a matter of when, and if it's at the point where the creative team have kind of accomplished what they wanted to with a character, then it makes perfect sense that he/she should just get eaten by a random zombie. Cos...you know...that's The Walking Dead.

Well don't underestimate AMC's greediness. If Reedus or Lincoln try to hold out for too much money I have no doubt that AMC will give them the axe.
Being successful doesn't make something good. Family Guy's proof of this.
yup
impossible
can't argue with that. Not to mention american dad. But still i wouldn't say kirkman is a bad writer, mediocre maybe, but not bad.
