theye have different times. depends on how they do the crossover.
I hope they don't mix it up.
Well Glenn was there before he left for Atlanta... I don't think I want it to crossover too much.
They have!? Well Clem was 9 and Carl was 12 when the outbreak started but a season and 4 later Carl is 14 and Clem is 12
Crossover? No. References and nods to the game? Yes.
Are you fuckin serious ?
I think the game outbreak started 2003. show 2010
Rick stumbles across a random axe while they are in Macon.I heard they were going to Macon right?
No, they don't have to. In my opinion, it'd be in their best interest to keep these stories as separate as possible.
Yh but the Show is based upon the Comic.
I believe it was just Michonne planning on taking a trip to Macon to look for The Governor but that was it.
Ah sweet evil Jesus, please prevent that from happening.
Seriously though, crossovers would not in any way, shape or form enhance the game experience. On the contrary, it would limit it. And I don't really like the prospect of fans dissecting stories and then argue about the TWD canon, because what always happens eventually, is that we conflicting accounts of the backgroundstories etc. Telltales stories and character development is fine the way it is. The last thing the game needs is fanservice.
NO. This would be a terrible idea.
The show, unfortunately, just needs to die. The writers had their chance and they screwed up pretty bad on the tv show. If they mix, there's going to be problems, simply because so many people are losing interest in the show. And since the show has already developed characters and a plot (that have been fleshed out), it would be like trying to smash two stories together.
Besides, they are two different universes.
Well shit ...
If they do that that'll ruin all her story
we' ll stay an entire season to the drugstore then 2 seasons to the motor inn
I don't see AMC paying royalties to TTG, which they would probably have to.
It would be cool if they see the sequence when glenn dies from the comics. Kinda like what happened in episode 2 when the saw the bandits. Maybe on the way to Michigan.
No.
Fuck. No.
If they did decide to make the game into a show and this is a big IF they should not let any of the characters from the game crossover with the show/comic characters, The game should stay with its own story and characters and i would never want to see Clementine or Lee in the same room as Rick, Carl or Daryl.
In another thread i said if they recreated the whole game story in a spinoff show that they would ruin the original story by having ridiculous subplots and pad out the story way too much with nonsense, they would make a whole season just showing events in the motor inn and the season final would be the St Johns farm which would take up more than one episode, and casting a good Clementine would be impossible.
Kirkman should give all of TWD rights to Telltale out of shame considering how Telltale made in 1 year something a million times better than he did in 10 years.
I think it would ruin it, if they do have a crossover then they'll have to be very smart about it.
Maybe Ricks group would meet Clementine, Christa and Omid at some point in the 16 month timeskip? As they're all still in Georgia.
In the Comics, Carl is 9 - 10.. The TV show is horrible.. They should not do a cross-over
no they don't the tv show is not good enough to even touch the telltale characters if kirkman wants to do a crossover with the game group and rick's group do it in the comics at least it will be decent there and it would make sense considering the game is in the comic universe and NOT the tv show universe no one wants it to happen expect the casuals (sorry but in my mind people who think the game and show are linked or think a crossover is a good idea are nothing but casual fans)
They need to do a crossover in the comics.
yeah like Krisandline said earlier
a reference would be "acceptable" like seeing the drugstore or the motel (i don't think they ll do it) or seeing the train
There are a multitude of reasons that this is a terrible idea. But it is also completely unfair to which ever young actress would have to play Clem. Even if she is an amazing actress, those writers will botch the character so bad I'll hate the poor girl forever.
It COULD happen, but its very unlikely for many good reasons
on reddit this is what kirkman said about it:
I mean if they did do a crossover in general, they already pretty much did. I mean it would be stupid and impossible in the show.
Fuck AMC!
Well, they don't have to and honestly I don't think I want them to. Now, a comic and game crossover, that I would like. But the show....I don't think it would portray the game characters very well and I don't think many of the TV show characters would fit in the games very well.
The sloth is back!
I dont trust amc or kirkman, gotta be telltale. and i dont wanna READ!? U KIDDEN ME!?
