In TWD 2, Who would you rather follow, Luke or Kenny?

Comments

  • Follow where?

  • They should follow Clem not the other way around. Clem is the only one with a head on her shoulders.

  • if you mean as leader...hmm then I would have to go with luke I love Kenny he is probably my favorite character but he seems off. I'd rather they just co-lead

  • I would probably choose Kenny because we don't know Luke much and I don't know if I can fully trust him yet

  • Kenny said himself in season one that one person cant be in charge of everything.

  • Nice that you're making use of the "you suck!" button, but I'm genuinely curious.

  • Wherever they say to go. Kenny wanted to go to the settlement in Wellington. Luke just wanted to go up the mountains. Who would you have chosen?

  • I'd follow Christa. But Luke is a good second choice.

    Where you at Christa???

  • That would oddly make a co-leadership with Luke more probable. I'd go with Luke since Kenny can always just do what Carlos does if he doesn't agree with something (and Luke seems more likely to listen than if the roles were reversed).

  • If i'd have no choice and have to choose between the two of them, i'd chose Luke cause Kenny is selfish and will run away in case of an attack i'm pretty sure of that.

( You can downvote me fanboys, it's okay. )

  • Not anymore he won't. Clementine is his family now, and his family comes first.

  • Kenny isn,t a coward and its also been show multiple times that he cares about Clem almost as much as he cared about Duck

  • Damn, I don't know... Luke, I guess. Kenny's changed in an unsettling way. That and he's already showing his old "agree with me or f**k off" ways again towards me.

  • Luke ran away. Kenny didn't. This is canon.

  • Are you sure? Why don't know exactly what happened to Luke

Both, if they'd just get along gosh darn it.

But joking aside, I think I'd choose Luke as the leader. Although keep in mind that my assumption on him being the better choice is only based on his personality and what we know of him so far. He seems level headed enough, but at the same time, I'm getting the vibe that him making risky decisions is a reoccurring thing he's got going on. He is definitely not wise yet. And Nick did mention that he used to push him around before the world went to hell, so there's that as well.

I hate saying this and choosing a "new" character since Kenny was (and still is) my bro, but the old pal seems a little... Off. Or at least slighter more fragile than what I remember him to be. But either way, I'll do my best in helping him get back on the right track. I could never just abandon him, and I have faith that he'll manage to be the hero again.

I think they were having an argument and Kenny sent him off, so he took a hike. but wherever he is, he probably heard the gunshots...probably

Luke seems like a nice guy.

But I'd rather, sure as shit, follow Kenny.
    He's a tough ol' bastard,!
Kenny's survived so much shit, and is still going strong!

Kenny is not only tenacious as hell, but also has developed some goddamn fine shootin' skills.
It seems anyone who fucks with Kenny, while he has a rifle in his hand, is seriously fucked!
That son of a bitch Carver found that out the hard way!
Lost one of his bastard henchmen and then got it in the shoulder.
    Fuck yeah!

    Also, I trust Kenny more.
Kenny had my back in the first game.
Cant say the same is true of Luke.
    Not yet anyway!

I like what you said about Kenny becoming a hero again.
But I respectfully disagree about him being slightly more fragile then he was in the first game.
He went through one hell of a traumatic loss, his wife and kid, and for him to be still effected by it, is completely understandable.

I will say one thing, his shooting skills have increased greatly!

  • She should ask Nick then.

    Lookin' for the fuckin' river.

  • Kenny. Don't get me wrong, Luke seems like a perfectly nice guy, but I don't know enough about him to trust him fully.

Kenny's unstable right now, but I can trust him and he seems dependable enough if you're loyal to him. Even if I haven't always agreed with his ideas, he's got some good leadership skills. And since he sees Clem as part of his family now, I'd trust him to keep her safe. The only problem would be his temperamental attitude, with him it's either: 1. Agree with his plans, or 2. Go fuck yourself. And apparently he holds grudges.

I don't think he's the absolute best person out there to take care of Clem though, Christa would be my first choice for that.

Luke all the way. :D Sorry Kenny fans :P

I actually wouldn't mind them co-leading. They both have their own strengths (Lukes more rational but Kenny is good with a gun.. haven't seenLuke with a gun yet..) and weaknesses (Kennys temper for one.) but I'm guessing that's not an option :P

I don't think Kenny would make a good leader. He tends to be selfish, impulsive, hotheaded and he's made several wrong calls throughout the game. Luke on the other hand seems to depend on others a bit too much, but he seems more rational so I'll go with Luke.

    Kenny obviously.

He has always been there for me. Always had my back when it mattered. What kind of a friend would i be if i wasn't there for him now? Him beeing a little bit broken or not, i am with him to the end. He can count on me!

  • I would follow Kenny. Even if he was in delusion in s1 ep 3-5 he got that surviving spirit. Lukes got... well, cute smile?

  • I all ways like it when people work quotes into their comments.

If you choose to look for Luke and Kenny instead of going downstairs to save Carlos, Kenny says that Luke started whining so Kenny told him to take a hike... or something. Perhaps he was whining because he knew that the gunshots were Carver's? I hope the next episode comes out soon... I'm getting shaky.

  • If you mean who I'd want as leader of the group I'd probably have to go with Luke (With Clemmy as advisor of course!)

While Kenny is a hothead and doesn't like being questioned he does have good leader skills (As seen in episode 1 of season 1) but I just can't see him actually listenting to others input seriously. Luke on the other hand is a lot less independet than Kenny and prefers to have people to lean back on and get advice from. (This if from my point of view, it's not fact)

Personally, I'd prefer it if Kenny and Luke could just work together as leader, but since I don't see that happen in the near future I pick Luke simply cause I think listening to the rest of the group for feedback on ideas and their input on matters is better than making all the calls yourself which I'm pretty sure Kenny would unless he for some reason didn't have the option to do so. (This is just my take on him.)

    • I imagine that Clementine opinions would matter a bit more to Luke than Kenny considering that while Luke seems to see Clementine as a friend and fellow survivor with experience Kenny still sees her as the child Lee took care of.

    They must respect Clemmy's authoritah!
