Things you might have missed in Season 2

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

I made this topic so we can post things other people might have missed in Season 2.

I will start first.

In Season 1 if you stay silent with Lee and you don't teach Clementine how to use a gun, then Clem does not know how to teach Sarah and they just play with the gun and Sarah tries to shoot herself.

I will post some other interesting things soon.

Soon huh... I know where this is going.

  • Heh,funny.NONE OF THIS HAPPENS MORONS!

  • Sarah pointing a gun to her head... I can see this happening sometime (?

  • Another interesting thing is if in Episode 1 (S2) you didn't promise Sarah you'll be her friend, she will not show you the gun in Episode 2.

  • I thought in S1 you had to teach Clem to shoot. You can still get the above if you taught her, I got it by staying silent when teaching her.

  • In episode 1 an interesting thing is the game won't let you burn the picture of lee if you choose to burn it

  • Can't tell if you're ignorant, or just a troll.

'they' play with the gun? To me its just Sarah!

  • When you're teaching Clem and she asks you if there's more she should know you can stay silent. Clem will then say something like "Well I guess I already know everything, being a little girl" to Lee.

  • You didn't get the scene where Clem spins the gun on the table like a spinning top?

  • Ah ok. That's interesting. I know you can still get the op scene whether you did that in season one or not.

I think you can 'miss' this little easter egg I found

In the ski lodge, when Clem picks up the CD, she says:

'Cousin Jared's concert' and some date in 1997

This is a reference to the composer of the music, Jared Emerson-Johnson.

  • foreshadowing something??Sarah pointing a gun?

  • Sarah pointing a gun at herself (a friendly). I predict friendly fire from Sarah.

I think the date was October 13th 1998, i did a quick google of the date to see if i could fine any more info and Jared's birthday is Oct 13th

Wait, then does she know how to shoot in the big shoot-out with walkers at the end of episode 2?

  • Yeah, I missed that reference.

    And now:

    Why 1998?

Did he get married then or his child was born?

    I dunno

  • This may be an Easter egg, when you first have control of Clem in the ski lodge you can investigate a boom box radio. The boom box radio will have a name on it "Lazartronic". This could be a nod to the Lead sound designer of the game, Lazar Levine -crazy name BTW.

  • It happens no matter what, and Sarah stays inside with Rebecca and Alvin no matter what.

  • Anybody else notice the Lee-Clementine symbolism?

  • Elaborate?

The major thing I noticed was the first walker fight both Lee and Clem had to do. Clem's zombified babysitter (Sandra, I believe) grabbed Lee and tripped him before climbing on top of him. The walker from the shed tripped Clem and did the same thing. And then both Lee and Clem had to kill the walkers with a hammer to head, 4 hits for both of them. They also had to do all of this after suffering from a wounded limb (Lee with his leg and Clem with her arm).

    Elaborate?

  • Also I find the situation between Lee's/Clem's arm bites similar in some ways, both injuries has the potential to make them die since even Clem's was pretty bad too even though it wasn't a walker, both bites are on the same arm, and they lay they lay their arm the same way and has to go excruciating pain to fix it(more or less).

  • So she does shoot all the walkers in the following scene even if you don't teach her in season 1? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just kind of confused about the outcomes, haha.

  • If you're talking about Clementine, you should probably mention that. Clem always shoots walkers, Sarah never does. I assume Christa taught her if Lee didn't for whatever reason.

  • Oh shit I didn't even realize I didn't clarify the pronoun haha. Thank you for clearing that up for me, no wonder I was so confused.
