  • It's pretty much established that the ending won't be rainbows and unicorns. So I guess you'll get what you want, unfortunately...

Still, I'm hoping for some sort of bitter-sweet ending at least.

  • Most will say no, most are lying. We come to this game for heartbreak and depression, we will leave this game with heartbreak and depression. Then next season we will return for the exact. same. thing.

  • Probably, but i don't expect a happy ending either.

  • I'm kinda on the fence about this. I want a dark, disturbing ending but I still want Clem to be as safe as possible...

  • PS: don't expect a happy ending, or at least a bitter sweet with slightly more sweet ending, until the series is done. When you leave the game going :_) say goodbye to your favorite game!

  • Along as Clementine is alive, and at least partially mentally stable, it will be bittersweet

  • Actually...having a mentally unstable clementine could be pretty frikin awesome

  • I keep anticipating a mentally unstable Clem this season. She can't be all tough and cut off all the time. A for some reason I see some sort of break down in the near future.

happy ends are boring...I want something that really stuns me. It doesn't have to be death, but something "dark" really should happen to Clem and the gang.

I'm expecting half happy ending. Something bad is gonna happen for sure and you can already be sure of it by looking at episode 4 slide.

  • I just cant wait for that episode...The slide really makes it feel amazing

Same... I think a breakdown or some other confrontation with Clem's underlying issues practically HAS to be coming at some point this season. It would actually be weird IMO if nothing happened after they set it all up, like Clem is part-terminator or something. My thinking is that it could be triggered by Rebecca's baby/delivery somehow. The miracle of birth is pretty damn horrifying as is, and I can't imagine that the memories of Christa's (presumably failed) delivery would help matters either.

Edit: If Clem has to deliver a Walker baby I might be the one who needs therapy.

  • Ending the game is going to be the hardest. If they fked up, then the whole game build up is ruined (endings matters a lot). In The Last Of Us, we got an ending that was for the own characters gain/selfishness to replace what he has lost. I wonder if telltales might do the same.

Me neither. It's going to be a very dark episode and I'm pretty god damn sure that you have to make a really hard decisions. It looks Like that there is some kinda ritual going on in the slide, so Maybe they bring back christa and then you have to kill her for the ritual but if you don't, they shoot Kenny or something I dunno, but dark it is going to be.

  • not really, I kinda want a dark ending too (without Clem dying of course)

  • "No. No. No, no, no, no, no. No. NOOOO!"

    Or better yet

"You done over there yet Rebecca?"

If she has to deliver a walker baby, Clementine and I are both gonna lose our shit.

  • I'm with you, I hate happy endings

  • Shit, I came here to protect Clementine.

  • If everyone dies, and Clem survives with at least part of her innocence intact, I'll consider that a happy ending.

    That's all I'm asking for.

  • What do you mean you done over there Rebecca?

  • I hope they don't do that, not only because it would be weird and creepy but because it would so expected, not cliche but definitely expected. The birth scene could be a really interesting time to the break down for sure.

  • I love dark endings, but I love Clementine more. IMO though, the darker it is, the more likely we're going to get a 3rd Season.

  • Jeez man what is it with people all wanting dark endings to things all of a sudden lol

Yeah, I'd rather not see Clem go the way of Carl and become a bitter little nihilist, unless the players so chooses of course.
