Overall favorite character? Lee, has the qualities of a leader and his personality is whatever you want him to be basically. And I always make him a selfless hero. Best part about him is the fact that he will always have that flawed past of the horrendous thing he done and there's nothing that can be done about it. It's a character flaw that stays with him no matter how you play as him.
Favorite character who's still alive is again an obvious one, lil' Sweet pea herself Clementine. I'm pretty sure I don't need to say why. Her adorableness and intelligence beyond one her age is amazing. And I can't wait to see how her character evolves from Season Two. She truly is becoming the successor of Lee.

I really like Nick and think he is a VERY well written character, but honestly, it has to be Clem. She's shaping up to be the standard against which all female/child/adventure game protagonists are measured. Lee was an amazing protagonist to be sure, but I wouldn't trade Clementine to have him back.
She is still alive, and she better stay that way... please?

My favorite character is Molly, and she's not confirmed dead no matter what you do, so I'll consider her still alive until it is officially stated otherwise.
Despite people thinking Molly is unrealistic and too much of a 'video game character', they miss a couple important things. 1, it is a video game, one about an unrealistic scenario at that, and only the most capable and lucky of people would survive very long in the first place, Video game characters should be allowed in video games and people like Molly would be more common in that situation over normal people with no special capabilities to help them survive. 2, Molly is not unrealistic. Her combat and parkour skills are impressive, but there's plenty of very real people that could run circles around her in both of those aspects.
Besides, Molly's epic.
