I don't think Kenny is a poor fighter. Kenny being beaten by Larry and Vernom group is determinant, the same way as he beaten up Danny St.John. And also,he survived from being attacked by 50+ walker with no weapons, so he isn't a poor fighter at all.
It's not that Kenny isn't smart, it's that he is impulsive. Though, it seems that Carver may actually be the smartest person in the franchise, except for, maybe, Eugene.
Honestly... Kenny can't fight for shit. And in the time between S1 and S202, I doubt he improved greatly (especially before he met Sarita), … moreso I find that unlikely. Kenny also isn't the smartest of people, while Carver has proven to be extremely intelligent.

It's not like he fought through a whole herd to get to the other side of the alley or killed all the walkers in the warehouse with his bare hands. Kenny actually pistol-whipped 2 walkers in the alley then made his escape. That 2nd walker almost overpowered him too. In the warehouse he was shooting the whole time then ran away. There is no scenario in season 1 where Kenny showcases his Bruce Lee fighting style.

PS. even i as a hardcore MGS (look at avatar duh) will wait for the complete bundle for MGS5,i wont pay 30$ for a glorified demo.

I think in light of Kenny being knocked down that a lot of people are ignoring just how hard he had to punch in order to get someone like Larry to recoil like that. That ain't no weak punch, I'll say that much.

Yeah, i saw the video where some guy finished ground zeroes in 10 minutes. 30 bucks for 10 minutes long story and couple of side missions. But I'm fan of Metal gear series so I still bought it.

Would be cool to see his story, you also fight him in Metal Gear 2 and he dies in a mine field.
