TT said their named files were animations the 400 days characters used, and that they keep their names to help with recognition. Of course, they could be trying to cover up the surprise.
I doubt it only because Lilly is Lilly Caul or whatever from the comics and the story she had with the season one group was basically her story before she was introduced to the comics.

Anyways the comics and game are within the same canon. Telltale Lilly was originally the one from Woodbury which "Woodbury Bound" was the original name of the achievement you get when she leaves Lee's group and her Bio on the page mentions that she "plays a role in the life of rick Grimes" or something along that. The Road to Woodbury" was a cashin and nothing else. Kirkman recently had an AMA and when Telltale series and Survival Instinct got brought up Kirkman talked about his involvement with the Telltale series. This was no fluke a simple it was a cash grab. Also in a Telltale Staff AMA awhile back didn't people confuse "Wolf and TWD are not in the same universe" with "The TWD comics and TWD game are not in the same universe"? Because that is what it seems like what happened. So yes the Telltale games and the Telltale character Lilly IS and or WAS the comic Lilly it's called a "retcon" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retroactive_continuity

And I don't think I have to remind you, but I will anyway, about Kenny202. Kenny202 was a file hidden in the "next time on the walking dead" sequence and well, look what happened. Also, no Bonnie202 files ever surfaced so it's still possible for Lilly to appear even if Lilly203 doesn't appear.
