Clem's Epitaph

Last night I was looking at some TWD fanart while listening to my music when this song came on:

Needless to say I was overcome with feels. I just wanted to share that with you guys. Onto the discussion.

If Clementine dies and if there was one person in this world that deserves a proper burial and ceremony it's her and you were in charge of writing an epitaph on her gravesite what would you write? It can be as light or heavy-hearted as you want. Here are two I thought of:

"Here lies
Clementine
Age 12
All she wanted
was for them
to stop fighting"

"She's gone now
Take care of her Lee"

    Wouldn't be able to read it, the writing would be sloppy from all my uncontrollable sobs....

    So young and bright

You gave the world a shining light

Of hope and love

As peaceful as a dove

You've gained too little

 Lost too much

Now it's time for you to rest

And say goodbye to those you've blessed

With your presence or your smile

You've passed through your long trial

In the pines you went your way

Learning how to stand on your own till today

The world dims when you leave

Like a dark stormcloud

Go to Lee now

R.I.P. Sweet Pea

    Now I'm gonna go cry. I just wrote my first poem ever and it was about Clem. Hope that wasn't too awful!!

    Wow. Really? Thanks!! I didn't think I did that good. I am not a writer or a poet that's for sure! Thank you though.

    It's not really an epitaph. More of a message of hope to any weary traveler who might stumble upon her grave. I feel like something like this would be a far better way to honor her memory and keep her spirit alive.
