Clem's Epitaph
Last night I was looking at some TWD fanart while listening to my music when this song came on:
Needless to say I was overcome with feels. I just wanted to share that with you guys. Onto the discussion.
If Clementine dies and if there was one person in this world that deserves a proper burial and ceremony it's her and you were in charge of writing an epitaph on her gravesite what would you write? It can be as light or heavy-hearted as you want. Here are two I thought of:
"Here lies
Clementine
Age 12
All she wanted
was for them
to stop fighting"
"She's gone now
Take care of her Lee"

Requiescat in pace.
What?
"Clementine, one of the greatest characters ever made you will be miss"
And people will stumble onto her gravesite and have no idea what that means.
"A spark of hope"
That she is.
they better not
Bit morbid
It can be a depressing game at times. Trust me I don't want this to happen ever.
Seems appropriate.
"TellTale, fuck your company, i won't buy anything from you, killed Clementine and pist me off by doing so, burn in hell and hopefully you go bankrupt. RIP Sweet Pea"
"Here lies Clementine, she died young but she was hopeful and strong"
I'm gonna get all metaphysical and suggest this:
"All that remains is a house divided, in harm's way; amid the ruins.
But there's no going back now."
At least it ended nicely.
Hopefully people can still draw inspiration from her if she does.
"In a better place. Resting peacefully, at last, with those she loves."
As much as I don't want to see her gone, she certainly does deserve a rest.
Wouldn't be able to read it, the writing would be sloppy from all my uncontrollable sobs....
Now I'm gonna go cry. I just wrote my first poem ever and it was about Clem. Hope that wasn't too awful!!
Here lies Clementine: a ray of light that dared to shine in a dark world.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Wow. Really? Thanks!! I didn't think I did that good. I am not a writer or a poet that's for sure! Thank you though.
Still. Not. Bitten.
Don't lick the salt lick.
"Hello. My name is Clementine. My journey ended here. But yours is still ahead. Keep going. And don't be afraid."
It's not really an epitaph. More of a message of hope to any weary traveler who might stumble upon her grave. I feel like something like this would be a far better way to honor her memory and keep her spirit alive.
"Only the good die young..."
"And always remember. .. keep that hair short".
