I won't be having kids for a long time, i'm just a teenager, but if you still want proof years from now, i'd be glad to show you well behaved kids that are free to speak their mind when they have the authority to.
Woah, there are actually nice people on the internet? o_o I feel like posting a meme but I guess this forum isn't in "forum games"... Dammit telltale...
If they do it like the comics and like Carl make her rage it for the first time due to extreme mental trauma I feel it will be well done.
In the comics Rick is out cold and really sick and carl keeps telling him to wake up, he says that his mom (who just died) used to fix him when he was like this he then starts crying and screams at his dad

I think the most appropriate scenario for her to say "fuck" is in a lot of physical pain, I'm surprised she didn't say it when she was stitching her arm, but if that didn't happen in All That Remains, if she were to stitch her arm now or in future episodes, she would definitely say it.
Putting soap in a child's mouth for swearing is punishment. It may, as you said, correct the behavior (by your standards) but it's still punishment. Any form of reprimanding, even something as simple and inconsequential as a raised voice, is punishment.
Punish, no correct behaviour, yes i would. I guess that i am in the mindset that even the smallest thing matters. What use is surviving wit… morehout rebuilding and should someone actually manage to build something stable, some "old world" norms could, would and should be used again. Thats my 2 cents, let us just agree to disagree.
Edit: i think i might come off more strict than i am
There have been many experiments. Cursing, or yelling, or anything of the nature is a proven way to eliminate or at least subdue anger and sadness and other emotions. It truly is a good thing when not directed at another unfortunate soul.
Thank you so much for showing this juice box.I read it but the tone of article makes it like a theory and I think the experiments can not ex… moreplain it compeletely.I refuse to believe that because I experienced it that how it can cause bad effects too and it doesn't worth to say it even if it makes you happier or healthier.anyway, thanks for helping me.
I don't think she'll say it. Clem is still really adverse to the f-bomb. Her saying "shit" on the bridge didn't even phase me. She was surro… moreunded by walkers and the only other person who could help was stuck. On a slightly unrelated note, has anyone noticed they never use "fuck" in the TV show? I'm wondering how they're going to do Negan as that guy swears up a storm.
yes,it will subdue anger and sadness but swearing can cause anger and sadness too.(aside from all of this. How are you viva-la-lee? Happy to see you again.)

I've never heard that before. Chances are if you are cursing or yelling then you are already angry, at which point it is proven cursing and yelling is a good release.
I've never been completely happy, yelled for no reason, and then been angry because of it.

First: language! We could have kids on here, don't want them to learn the wrong things and start a war or something.
Second: the entire conversation has been about cursing. You can't just switch the subject matter to fit your argument.
It's like having a conversation with a girl all night telling her she looks good, looks pretty, then you tell her she looks hot then say you were referring to a nearby fire.
Personally I view lack of punishment (particularly capital) for the rise in violent acts by the young. For what reason is there to not do something if the repercussions are a slap on the wrist? Let em swing so the future violators have something to remember.

I mean the person that has been cursed could get angry or sad,not the person that curses people.(happy to know you are doing good,I'm doing good too, thanks for asking)

That I agree with.
I don't agree cursing is a punishable of fence unless directed at another, otherwise it's just words meant for the sel… moref.
In any case the way I read the first part of your post was:
Punish? No. Correct behavior, yes I would.
So I felt it necessary to point out that it's still punishment, only a different form and a different severity.
Anyway, swearing is indeed a stress reliever, but it's not the only one, mind you. It's no different than screaming into a pillow. Now, she shouldn't be swearing at people or swearing just because, but if she has anger to release, she can go somewhere and just go to town.
This is how I see it happening (WARNING: This is a bit lengthy). It will most likely happen after whatever happens at Carver's camp (so between the tail end of episode 3 to sometime during episode 4). Whoever is left will be arguing about what to do next and where to go. Everyone starts getting loud, angry, and saying things they may regret. Similar to the no-response option when Kenny, Nick, and Luke were all fighting at the table, Clem will cover her ears due to the annoyance. Something strange will start happening, though. Her face changes. Her eyes are shut tight and her brow is extremely lowered. Her mouth contorts into a display of rage and agony. You begin to her a low growl from her throat. Suddenly, you realize what is happening: Clem has snapped. After two years of dealing with starvation, fear, loneliness, and the deaths of those whom Clementine befriends, she has reached her breaking point. The tears of built up grief begin to roll down her face. The camera zooms in on her as she lifts her head. With sadness, despair, hopelessness, and a broken heart, Clementine screams at everyone at the top of her lungs: *"SHUT THE F**K UP!!!"* She storms out from the group but trips over her own feet. With her face down in the ground, she finally does something she hasn't done: grieve. The rest of the group members look on knowing there is nothing they can do but let her be. We, the gamers and audience, have to sit and watch the one thing we have all dreaded. For our lowest moment isn't the death of Clementine, but the death of her heart, soul, and spirit.

This is why kids are so violence these days, blame the fucking parents for teaching them the wrong things.
The average parent doesn't let their kid swear, so you're not helping your case here.
nah, its ok, we just had the same thought, that cool!
Woah, there are actually nice people on the internet? o_o I feel like posting a meme but I guess this forum isn't in "forum games"... Dammit telltale...
I have used your algorithim and you deserve an upvote!

"WAKE UP JUST FUCKING WAKE UP"
Can't argue with science.
she would probably say that if a zombie bit her, but she wont be bit since she's badass
Or if something happens to Kenny.. (I hope that's not the case)
If there were a dialogue choice to say "fuck you" or something like that to Carver or Bonnie? Wouldn't hesitate to choose it.
Or any option, really. I wouldn't be able to help myself. If I'm given the option to hear a Clem f-bomb, I would NEED to hear it.
When she sees Lee as a hallucination.
Clem: ...Fuck
Lee: Oh, so YOU get to swear?

Yes. Swearing leads to school shootings.
.....

Of course they'll have to castrate comic Negan and put a machine that turns swears into farts on his mouth.

This conversation is getting too heavy. Imma tuck tail and run.

She's an orphan so it's a little different, but I'm pretty sure at 11 if I said 'fuck' it would be an immediate slap across the face.
"It truly is a good thing when not directed at another unfortunate soul."
I threw that disclaimer in there earlier.
(And thanks to you as well hehe)
If anything, she'll probably say it quietly and no one will hear her. That's my guess.
If they give me an option to yell FUCK OFF Bonnie I'm taking it.
OH,sorry,I didn't get that so I just passed it,I am not so good at english. In that case I am almost agree with you.
Watch 1:21.
Poop
Haha all good buddy
And your English is great!
Yes, but there is still a distinction between physical punishment and telling a child not to say bad words.
That I agree with.

Ok, understood you do raise a good point on the cursing part.
That really worked with Rebecca, didn't it.
Nah, just giving you crap :b

This is dark. But also possible.
duuude...
That actually made me cry a little.
