Why Lilly probably won't appear in season 2

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

I've seen a lot of people saying that they thought lilly would come back, but she was left alone with nothing in season one. Do you think it's possible? And we know telltale isn't known for keeping too many people alive.

Comments

  • I'm still really disappointed that Kirkman separated the Lillies.

  • Kenny was alone for, like, a year after we last saw him in Season 1, and then he was surrounded by a few dozen walkers with no ammo. If Kenny can survive a horde with nothing but his bare hands, I think Lilly can survive one walker/a broken down RV.

  • Kenny is alive and was in a situation way worse compared to Lilly.

  • True

  • So Kenny surviving all that and finding clem is realistic but Lilly finding clem isnt?

  • She took the RV in my game, so she had plenty of food.

I know I'll earn a lot of downvotes but she's probably alive. I mean what's the point about;"Lilly won't forget that." "She will remember that." then? Telltale must be put these because it's gonna be important right? Or it's probably another "Carley will remember that." or "Pete will remember that." thing before the... you know.

  • I agree that she may live, but the "Lilly will remember that" things don't mean nothing, like you already said

  • If Lilly was gonna return telltale would say that her fate would be explored just like what they did with kenny.

  • Of course it's possible she's alive. However, will is alive? We don't know. The real question is, will she show up, period. Not if she will show up this season, next season... AT ALL, period.

I personally doubt it. It's not because of any in-universe issues, but because how Telltale's Lilly was supposed to be the Lilly in the comics. And now that she isn't, it's still possible, but this is a lot of confusion. And because of these considerations I doubt it.

I certainly wouldn't mind if she was shown. Heck, why not? But... other considerations.

Interesting fact, if you keep Ben alive and when it comes down to fighting against Walkers in a house, if you don't shoot from your pistol at all (i forgot how many bullets Lee had in his pistol, like 5 maybe?) then when your group goes up to hide in an attic you drop your pistol, if Ben is alive, he picks it up, if he's dead, your Pistol is gone...So, when it comes down to Alleyway, Ben & Kenny surrounded by Walkers moment, you give your Pistol to Kenny, so he had enough ammo to kill at least 5 walkers (i don't remember how many bullets Lee had in his pistol) and now im wondering, will it change Kenny's story (if he's going to tell Clem what really happened back then) of how he survived back then or not.

    Just a little fact

  • It would be unrealistic for all of these characters to conveniently return to Clementine, is what I think they're saying.

So Kenny surviving all that and finding clem is realistic but Lilly finding clem isnt?

  • While I would like to see Lilly return, I kind of hope she doesn't, just because I know that there's just going to be tons of fandom hate all bubbling back up again with her.

Remember the rule; if body or death isn´t showed, the person is still alive.

  • Kirkman's better at disappointing fans than he is at writing a convincing story.

I'm still really disappointed that Kirkman separated the Lillies.

  • Lilly was originally supposed to be left ton the road alone and end up at the governors town. It was later redacted, but if she could survive in the first scenario I don't see why she couldn't in the second.

  • Kenny wasn't alone for one full year, he said that after that incident he found Sarita. She saved his life.

  • Omg it's actually really nice to see people communicate here without fights, LOVE IT! but i would really like to see her back, it would be really interesting.. i don't think she will this season.. but i HOPE it, i think we'll see her in a DLC though, like 400 days but it will be about Lilly.

  • Interesting! i didn't know that.

  • I hope she dosent return she was a bitch.

  • He said he was alone for a long time after Savannah, and was basically on the brink of death when Sarita found him in that restaurant.

  • I think she is more than likely alive but it was also be too contrived for yet another season one character to turn up. America is a large place why exactly would she be in Virginia?

  • Maybe she'll be in Wellington since the entire country is basically going there. But if she's out there in Carvers camp that'll be in my opinion really stupid because What where the chances you'd ever find Kenny again? Even when somebody is alive and even within a 5 mile radius of you, you'd probably never find them.

  • Yeah, but then that would make it too obvious.

If Lilly was gonna return telltale would say that her fate would be explored just like what they did with kenny.

  • They say the rule is you haven't seen her dead that means she isn't necessarily dead; true, but it doesn't means she's coming back. I think it would be far more realistic if she just vanished. We might have the same thing with Christa; the point is, in these kinds of situations, people just get lost and you never know what happened to them.
