Duck 2.0

  • If you mean that Sarah is the new Duck because they represent a liability to the group due to their inability to fend for themselves, then yes, Sarah is the new Duck. However, instead of being frustrated at the kids for not stepping up, I'm angry at their parents for sheltering them and not teaching them at least a survival skill. In Clementine's case, there was no point on sheltering her. I believe that the fact that she had been surviving by herself for a couple of days prior meeting her, made her take initiative to help out when needed when it came to the survival/safety of the group. Having Lee teaching her how to defend herself and cutting her hair was a plus. As for Sarah and Duck, I could deal with Duck being slow and entering in shock whenever there were walkers involved, but he was still a child and it was the beginning of the zombie-apocalypse; however, I am really frustrated with Sarah for 2 reasons: first of all, there is no way she couldn't have known what was happening for the last 2 years, and secondly, why isn't she helping out? (even Becca, and sometimes Ben, were helpful, and the 3 of them seem to be on the same age range). I think what makes me even more frustrated is the fact that it is up to Clementine (not Carlos or another grown up) to teach her how to fend for herself. I don't mind teaching her, but I will be really angry if Clementine gets stuck with Sarah and she had 0-survival skills (it would be like Ben and the bell-tower scenario all over again; I would probably help her, but I would definitely pause the game to evaluate pros and cons). Sarah seems to be really sweet, but she needs to start stepping up if she wants a fair chance to survive.

  • That's my point. I honestly find them annoying only because of their parents not helping them out, thinking that it's a good idea to keep them from learning how to survive.

  • No, that wasn't my point. I mean she didn't see where rebecca went. because after sarah ran to him that's when they hide.

"Remember when sarah ran for carlos when carver punches him? YA..." Wait what? Trying to run to her father's aid was a misguided thing to do? I'm confused.

  • Right. But how many options would they have for hiding? Upstairs or.... behind the tree?

  • I don't think she "wanted" to but she thought it was necessary. Like whenever Shel said and i'm paraphrasing "Roman says we have to-" while Becca says "Kill her? Yeah." with an evil look on her face...

I actually don't mind becca and I don't think she wanted to kill Stephanie. I think she was just trying to play it tough and dismiss it. only thing I hate about her was her sneaking out without supervision that was just plain dumb of her
