Wait, 35 days to make S1E2? Shouldn't it be more like...67 days?

My predictions are a bit more pessimistic than yours.

If S2E2 was just an outlier and S2 follows the same schedule as S1 (61 days for E3, 42 days for E4, and 42 days for E5), then we'd get E3 on May 6th, E4 on June 24th, and E5 on August 12th.

If, however, S2 follows the same trend as S1, then we'd get E3 on May 13th, E4 on July 15th, and EP5 on September 16th (70 days for E3, 48 days for E4, and 48 days for E5).

No, all we need is the one exact and precisely calculated date announced by Telltale themselves…

    "Soon"…

Since the Sample data is so limited, I would not recommend eliminating the outliers in this situation. I also fixed the release date error you were telling me about. Thanks!

  • Soon = 1 Developer Second = 1000 Years :D

  • Im probably going to get downvoted but if you take out the 2 weeks of holiday break then you get 63 days.

  • Unfortunately, we have no way of telling if Tell Tale Games took a break or reduced its staff on the S2 Episode 2 which would all effect the results. For this calculation I did not take "breaks" into account :D

  • Can you make a new calculation that will tell me that ep 3 would be released tomorrow? : )

  • This just in...The Weather Report: episode 3 will NOT come out tomorrow >.> :D

Can you make a new calculation that will tell me that ep 3 would be released tomorrow? : )

  • Dammit!!

This just in...The Weather Report: episode 3 will NOT come out tomorrow >.>

  • Ha-ha, I wish though! It takes time to make the high quality content that Tell Tale Games produces :D

    Dammit!!

  • theres no way any of these dates could be accurate, their also working on TWAU so theyre most likely going to swap between games every other month, so the next TWAU episode is likely coming out before the next TWD episode

  • Might want to change "statically" to "statistically", assuming that's what you meant.

  • This is resourceful. I like it!

  • A good prediction, but didn't Telltale want to alternate TWAU and TWD? Seems that's what they're doing now and neither have been released in the same month (even with the 2 episodes for each game so far). TWAU E3 (barring any issues) should be out early next month, TWD E3 in May, TWAU E4 in in June, TWD E4 in July, TWAU E5 in August, and TWD E5 in September. End of summer is officially in September so people can't complain if the game is taking too long. A fall release would be after September 21st, and thus far, Telltale's kept to releases in the early part of the month (within the first 2 weeks). I don't see both games being released inside of the same month for marketing reasons alone. Don't need TWD stealing the thunder from TWAU (and vice versa) by releasing them too close together.

Patience is a virtue, a thing many are forgetting these days. I'm looking forward to the next episode of TWD and TWAU like everyone else, but there is more to life than waiting for a game. Time goes by slower when you're actively paying attention to it. Notice when you're preoccupied or having fun, time goes by faster. Go do something else. Summer's nearly here. Go outside and have some fun with friends. Go on a date with your partner. Go to the park with your kids. Spent time with your pets. Go play other games. TWD and TWAU E3 will be out soon enough.

  • Yes Tell Tale Games alternates, already taken into account. Thanks for the suggestion though!

  • I don't think we're going to see TWD E3 until early June. TWAU maybe 40 days after. You have to factor in they are producing 2-3 and maybe even 4 episodic games at once right now.

  • You play The Walking Dead Game, good sir. The entire experience is about retaining hope in a place where there is none. Do you not see the parallel here?

  • No. There's no hope. Telltale will troll hard forever.

  • I guess he doesn't Play The Walking Dead Game because their is no way he could have missed that parallel :D Tell Tale Games is funny with release date sometimes. Also, I noticed they have the money to hire more programmers but keep a smaller number just keep everyone employed.
