Please Stop with the Bonnie hate threads till were done with 203...
Hey come on guys. Bonnie was just doing her job. She actually didn't do anything harmful at all. All she did was be honest ask Clem how old she was, and ask for food for her group. She was being honest is all and doing her job. Yes she held the gun at the group, but didn't fire at all, she was just scared because Carver is a smart tough guy. Carver is like Joe from TWD show the hunter. I feel people shouldn't hate Bonnie at all. She was honest in 400 days. I felt her pain she really didn't mean to kill Dee. She thought it was the enemy.
In the trailer it shows Clem talking to Bonnie. She seems like a reasonable person. Bonnie and Clem can connect because they both lost someone they cared for. Plus Bonnie told us she had a daughter who was 11. Bonnie-Leland Clem- Lee plus they both are honest people. We will have the choice to become a total scumbag to Bonnie or try reasoning with her. Bonnie will connect and tell her about Leland and love, and trust. Who knows Bonnie might end up betraying Carver and becoming like a mother to Clem since Clem reminds her of her 11 year old daughter. I doubt Bonnie would ever try to hurt a kid. I think Bonnie's a strong woman because she was able to fight through her drug addiction as stated in 400 days Bonnie's story, and Wyatt's story when Eddie talked about a girl who was a junkie. Dee's death made her a stronger person because she knows to never ruin a good friendship or relationship with people, or kill someone unjustly. I can actually see Bonnie helping Clem out during a tough situation. Bonnie will tell Clem how she reminds her of her daughter, and talk about Leland who I think is dead. Either way if you chose to be a scumbag to Bonnie I think you can still reason with her.
So please stop hating on Bonnie. If Bonnie ends up killing Kenny or someone you like then yes you can hate her all you want. It's ridiculous to hate Bonnie when you know nothing about her yet. As Clem we are supposed to be observers and get to learn characters. We can't just hate them without knowing about them and their issues. Carver is the one to have a hate/like for not Bonnie. Let's play episode 203 before we judge someone and make hate threads for them .
P.S
All we know about Bonnie is she is an ex junkie, had a love for Leland, accidentally kill Dee, Strong woman, had an 11 yr daughter, joined Tavia's group, possibly killed Leland due to infection bite? Joined up with Carver. Maybe she was Eddie's Ex gf because they both seem to like drugs lol. ''Hey check the glove department; is there any weed?'' He also seemed to know about her.

Well, first of all, she wasn't being honest at all. Secondly, there is no excuse for actively assisting someone who just killed an innocent man and tortured a father in front of his daughter. Cowardice is no reason. She'll probably help me escape, but she doesn't get points for that. Its simply the least she could do. I don't care whether she lives or dies.
And I liked her in 400 days.
She stood by as an innocent man gets murdered, several depending on your choices. That's more then enough reason to dislike her.
I guess I understand why people hate Bonnie. I respect ya'll opinions
People can hate her if they want,
Screw Bonnie, i'll hate her till end of dawn, but your opinion has been noted.
I'm gonna hate Bonnie until we actually see evidence that she's a good person and truly has the guts to help. I know she's probably nicer than what we saw (she didn't seem happy to see Walt's brains all over the floor), but she abused our trust and is working for a horrible man. It's gonna take a lot for me to get to like her. Still, judging by how most characters have been introduced this season, I'm starting to think Telltale likes a challenge.
Having played her as a fairly sweet and honest person in 400 Days, I don't find myself hating her as much as just being disappointed in what she's become. She was so trusting and naive at the end of 400 days, almost as much as S1 Clem. Now she's lying through her teeth and holding innocent hostages at gunpoint. It's sad to see that kind of turn-around in her character.
It makes a lot of sense though. I know how fragile and dependent she can be on people and I know how smart and manipulative Carver can be. Right now I'm still sympathetic to her because it still seems like she can be redeemed. But I'm certainly not going to be putting any trust in her any time soon and if it comes down to it, I'd prioritize the life of anyone else in the group over her's.
Also, I assumed that she was just lying about the daughter thing. Unless Shel died and she took Becca in as an adopted daughter or something, but that seems unlikely given their interaction at the end of 400 days.
I can't excuse Bonnie's behaviour, but I agree on the second part. Carver is both charismatic and threatening, and the right mix of those two qualities can bring a lot of people on his side, specially someone as emotionally fragile as Bonnie. She may have gotten tougher with time, but that's still the most likely way she ended up being Carver's soldier.
SassssssiexD
I don't really "Hate" her but if she was on fire I wouldn't even SPIT on her...
Didn't Melissa say in the Playing Dead that she doesn't like Bonnie, and neither does Clem?
How could I disagree with Clem?
It's the apocalypse. There is no right or wrong anymore. There is no black and white moral code, only shades of grey. Hell, maybe the Cabin Group is the real bad guy.
I just don't understand how you could hate Bonnie, shes such a great character who has been through so much (including a debilitating addiction). I honestly hope that she becomes Clem's adoptive mommy. Okay so she told a little white lie, but who hasn't? At least she showed regret about it. Its clear she doesn't like doing the things shes done.
She better live on until episode 5!
I feel bad for Bonnie. If her drug problem tells us anything about her personally it's that she's not the best at resisting temptation and falling into traps. She's an idealist and has a naturally trusting nature. I think she's being manipulated by Carver and is probably doing his bidding because she's terrified of him--look at how he hunted this group of seven people down and beat them into submission. If she tried to escape, or join up with Clem + co instead, do you honestly think she'd be guaranteed safety? And I'm sure she has people she cares about back at Carver's camp that he would punish for her mistakes, as emotional manipulation.
I'm disappointed in Bonnie but I don't hate her.
However, I'm pretty sure she was lying about having a little girl. Bonnie looks older than she actually is because of her drug use--she's really more in her mid-20s, which isn't old enough to have a daughter. And the daughter was never even mentioned in 400 Days so, yeah, I'm pretty sure she was lying to get sympathy. Or maybe she's been watching over a girl back at Carver's camp? At first I thought maybe it was Becca, but Becca should be Sarah's age by now.
I still like Bonnie. I obviously don't like what she did BUT I need to know WHY she's doing that. She's not exactly enjoyng Walter's execution.
That's enough out of you zombie Clem :P
It's a little different now, in season 1 Clem is your moral compass, now that you are Clem i'm assuming you can chose to hate or like Bonnie.
White lie? I'm sympathetic to Bonnie as well, but come on! She made up a sob story about her starving family to get herself out of jam when she was caught spying for Carver. That lie got her the sympathy she needed to be allowed to run off and tell Carver to come back and raid the place.
Please stop with the "Please Stop" or "Seriously, Stop" or "Just Stop" threads.
It's nice that you brought up points and didn't literally name your thread one of the above quoted phrases, but the response to your request will inevitably be a variation of "no".
But if she WEREN'T on fire, you would totally spit on her, right?
Hahahaha! Horse pussy. Murdering an innocent man is still 100% wrong, pitch black villainy. By your logic it would be okay if I killed Rebecca's baby, because theres no black and white, right? I don't give a shit if the cabin crew raped and killed Carvers mother, it wont make him a good guy. When I said theres no excuse, I meant it.
People hate Bonnie because she killed everyones favorite character, Dee.
WHY DEE? WHHHHYYYYY!?
Bonnie completely lied to the group and manipulated them into letting her go free back to her own group, which ended up getting Walter and possibly Alvin killed. She was a scout for Carver's group, she was caught and lied, then brought Carver's group back to the area. She could have just said "No one was there" or "No one we're looking for", if she knows how dangerous Carver is like you say, I don't think she would put other people in danger like that when lying would be so easy.
But perhaps she was scared. Either way, I think any hate towards her is completely justified. I think Walter had a lot of potential as a character.
Ehhh not really xD don't really hate her that much
I have never trusted Bonnie. In life there are guidelines, most have served me well over the years and one suits this situation.
Never trust a junkie, or even an ex junkie. They will lie, cheat, steal and have no morals or ethics. The only people they think about is themselves and let nothing stand in their way. Friends and family mean nothing either.
So no, Bonnie deserves everything she gets. Even if she turns out to be an ally of sorts in Episode Three, I won't give her an inch.
Personally, I think she will end up as Walker meat and don't expect me to shed any tears either.
Is this the voice actor for Bonnie? You got too much love in your post.
She doesn't have a backbone, that's for sure.
She's standing in a strategic place, behind both Troy and Carver when Kenny determinantly takes the shot at Carver's shoulder.
If she were smart and really willing to save the people in the cabin as per Walter begged her to before being executed, she could have just gunned down a stunned Troy who HAD HIS BACK TURNED TO HER, following quickly by shooting Carver before he has a chance to recover from Kenny's gunshot. She had a damn assault rifle!
Boom, crisis averted, Carver's dead, she's free from him, and she's earned the trust of a whole new group that she could survive with.
In the walking dead you must do everything you can to survive so leave Bonnie alone is you were her you would do the same thing.
Lol no I'm not Bonnie's voice actor XD
I read the part about the daughter and that wasn't true
I'm still waiting to learn more before I jump to conclusions. Bonnie was one of my faves in 400 days, so I will wait a little longer before jumping to conclusions.
Agreed I like Bonnie. She's like a perfect example for Clem. She could get all personal with Clem and tell her about her drug addiction and life. Bonnie could tell Clem never to take drugs or end up like her because you lose friends that way. Bonnie could have some really good advice for those people addicted to drugs. It'll be a the more you know moment. Bonnie is an recovering drug addict so who knows what she might do. And for those saying Bonnie is a coward they are wrong.
It was a life or dead situation. In her heart she knew what Carver was doing was wrong. Yes she could have helped stop Carver from doing what she did but couldn't. Bonnie would have been killed too if she ever tried helping. Carver would have told Troy or Johnny to kill her. Bonnie seeing what carver did makes her remember Dee and Leland. Remember Carver stated ,'' We are all brothers and sisters, we all have a role to play here. I think Bonnie and the others were forced to be his henchmen. Carver is like Joe the hunter who gives certain tasks to people. Joe stated in the show they are good people, but if you screw up you will be punished.
I think Carver has a Claimed hunter style community like Joe. Plus Bonnie probably did have a daughter, but due to her drug issues she was taken away from her and never seen again. Bonnie is not a coward at all they all have a vital role to play in this community even if you don't want to do it. Bonnie was telling the truth her group did need food because Carver mentioned there's a storm coming so they need food and supplies ASAP before everything goes down.
After what happened to Dee and possibly Leland I doubt she would want to kill another innocent person. Carver used her to get the food because he knows her situation, and more easy to manipulate. Plus it's Kenny's and Luke's fault for the death of Walter and whoever you got killed. If kenny wouldn't have shot Johnny then carver wouldn't have killed Walt. If Luke would have never led the group to the lodge everyone would be alive. During the whole scene Bonnie was mostly looking at Clem which plays a role in episode 3.
It's funny how people get hate of people when we know nothing yet. As Clem we know nothing about Bonnie XD. All we know is she wanted food for her group, and was one of Carver's henchmen. Clem only hates Bonnie because she was apart of Carver's group XD. Melissa hates Bonnie because she's Clem who hates Bonnie Lol. But yes people should play the episode then decide her fate. The word hate is strong so I'd rather say dislike. Only time I'd ever dislike Bonnie is if she goes Lily on someone and kills them which means killing Dee wasn't an accident as she said in 400 days. If Bonnie is able to Help Clem and her group then I still have respect for her
RIP you old bitch XD
Please take this like. I've been saying all along Bonnie is stronger than people give her credit for. Everyone was like "Drug addict = weak" but for me because of all that drug abuse she'd been through and because she was able to overcome it with the help Leland and Dee, I believe it's made her stronger. She's just too trusting, wants a sense of belonging and she's definitely scared of what Carver would do if she tried to escape which I don't blame her for. I liked her in 400 days so although I don't like the fact she's with Bonnie, I'm waiting on the next episode has in store before hating on her as at this stage it seems she's been forced into this terrible situation that she can't escape. She genuinely seems remorseful when Walter gives all that food "this is too much" and then when Walter recognizes her and is later shot.
In 400 days people can play Bonnie the way they want to so she doesn't necessarily have to be honest. In my playthrough though that's how I played her. She was genuinely upset when she hit Dee as she really believed it was the "enemy" aka She's group. I had her tell Leland the truth and he came with me so although I don't like her being with Carvers group, I'm really hoping there's still chance for her yet.
TAKE MY LIKE!!!!!!
Everyone has the right to hate/like/dislike/love on what they want to hate/like/dislike/love
To be fair until I see what this camps like I'm not gonna judge her. Clem and the others are nothing to her, why should she wanna save them
