Backstory:Very long! Zack was alone chilling in his house on a Friday. He decided to called up his best friend Brian and see if he can go over to his house. He ended up going. He stayed there for the weekend, and he called his parents to come pick him up on Sunday. They didn't pick up the first time, and Zack kept calling. They never picked up, so Zack asked Brian's mom if he can drop him off. (Brian's dad died from a car crash about 2 years ago). Luckily, she was able to. As they entered Zack's neighborhood/community, they saw the walkers lurking around. They had no idea what was going on or what the walkers were, so they got out and carefully approached one. The walker ended up eating Brian's mom, and Zack sprinted to his house. He went inside to see his is mom, dad, and sister Anna as walkers. He was in shock and was filled with sadness. He picked up a knife from his kitchen while skillfully avoiding the walkers, and carefully approached walker Anna. He quickly stabbed her in the stomach and nothing happened. He repeated this action about 6 times, until he tried to stab her in the head. He did it, which killed walker Anna. He cried as he did this, and then realized he also had to put down his parents. So he did, and Zack knew what was going on. He was living in a zombie apocalypse. He didn't know too much about survival, but he had to learn somehow. He went into the garage and picked up his dad's pistol, which was mainly used for protection. He searched his garage for some bullets that his dad used to keep. Zack grabbed as much food and water as he can and headed out. He called Brian before leaving, and he picked up, which relieved Zack. He quickly told Brian that he was heading to his house. Brian accepted, but Zack said he was going to call his girlfriend Skylar too. and they hung up. Zack called Skylar, but she didn't pick up. He decided to run to her house, and entered. He realized that the house was empty. There was barely anything in the house, no food, water, posters, pictures, nothing. However, he saw Skylar's phone shattered on the floor. Zack had assumed that she also headed out to survive. He was sad that he couldn't bring Skylar along with Brian, but he had to accept it. Zack went to Brian's house and told him about what happened to his mom. Brian was now alone, and it was just him and Zack. They headed out to their high school, while avoiding lots of walkers along the way. Brian killed some walkers with his average kitchen knife. They entered to school to find it was filled with walkers. They thought everyone was dead, so they left. Their new plan was to search for fellow survivors. They searched their entire town, but there was no sign of survivors. Zack and Brian were searching for 5 days, sleeping in clean stores and locking the place down. It was getting dark on the 6th night, so Zack and Brian decided to search a barber shop. As they entered, Zack and Brian searched the main room, and then Brian checked the office while Zack settled in. All of a sudden, he heard Brian scream, and then he took out the zombie. Brian turned to Zack, and then looked at his left shoulder. The walker had taken a chunk out of it. There was blood everywhere, and Brian was in serious pain. Zack tried to assist Brian as much as possible, since both of them had no medical experience. They also didn't know that the bite would soon kill Brian. After doing everything they can, they decided to go to sleep. However, in the middle of the night, he heard Brian making strange, loud noises. He checked on Brian, and he wasn't moving. Zack kept checking him, when all of a sudden he jumped at him as a walker. Zack was very shocked and upset. He took out Brian with his pistol, and then started to cry again. He had lost everyone he has known, except Skylar, but her status was unknown. He found out that if you were bitten by a walker, it kills you and brings you back as one of them. (However, he doesn't know yet that you come back no matter what). Zack was about to go back to sleep, but the walkers started to attack the barber shop. The noise had attracted them, but Zack didn't know why. He had to quickly gather his belongings. He ran out the back, and kept searching all night long. Finally the sun rose, and he was still wandering around, searching for a group. He was extremely tired and wore down. He didn't know how much longer he would be able to survive. He kept his routine for 4 extra days. On the afternoon of the 5th day, he stumbled upon the Everett Drugstore, and he decided to check it out. He was hoping to find any painkillers or anything that would be helpful. But that was then he discovered that there was a group surviving inside the drugstore.
I know that was very long, but it was fun! You can decide what happens afterwards and how Zack survives with the group if you choose to include this character. You can also make some revisions and tweaks if you need to. Looking forward to the fan-fic.

Personality: He's often calm, friendly and uses jokes to raise the group's spirit. However, he can be quick to anger when put under pressure, but will only fight a friend under the most extreme circumstances. He is very loyal to his friends but trusts first impressions too much, although he can change his mind. While calm under normal circumstances, when he sees cruelty or evil, he will become extremelly violent and practically loose control of himself. He'll have no qualms murdering or even torturing a man he's seen do something horrible (such as killing a kid, or worse). Most of all, he misses his family. Racionally, he know they are probably dead, but, emocionally, he still thinks they are alive and will sometimes claim he will see them again someday.
Skills: He was a doctor's "apprentice" for a short period of time in a camp where he lived, which left him with some medical knowledge. This, while sometimes useful, is hardly enough. He wears a riot gear and carries an axe on one hand and the riot gear's shield on the other. He is smart and will often apply his intelligence to stealth and tactics. His fighting mainly relies on brutality emerging from his inner rage and his experience (acquired entirely during the apocalypse). This enables him to take on seemingly stronger enemies and numerous walkers (when armed with the axe and shield), but can cloud his judgement.
Objective: He lost any friends he had in the US and his main goal is to get home. He hopes things will be better there or that he'll at least see one familiar face. He tried to reach his country several times but, for whatever reason, couldn't and is waiting for the right moment to try again.

When everything began, his hosts quickly died and he managed to get together with 3 other exchange students and stick together throughout the first few days. They managed to get their hands on a car, so they hit the road. Nicólas insisted that they should try getting to their families, but his friends insisted on finding shelter and wait for everything to calm down. This shelter became a settlement and lasted two months, during which time Nick requested and recieved medical training, due to the limited amount of doctors and nurses. The settlement fell to a herd and, after that, the group simply travelled looking for food and a new settlement. The other 3 exchange students died one by one until Nick was left alone. He tried reaching home, but had to retreat and return to the United States. After this, he decided to make time, then try again, which he repeated a few more times before finally giving up.
