Season 1 references in Season 2
When Luke and Clem are walking to the bridge and Clementine asks why Carver is following the group Luke says that family is a very valuable asset to have, which is pretty close to when Hershel says "Family is important. It's all that matters."

The entirety of All That Remains. Clem, just like Lee had:
1. Suffered a serious injury (her arm, his leg).
2. Had to fight a walker off while that damaged state (Lee vs. Sandra, Clem's babysitter and the walker that attacked Clementine in the shed).
3. They had to use a hammer to dispatch the walkers, with 4 hits each.
4. Both Lee and Clem had to make a choice to save someone at the cost of another (Lee with Carley/Doug and Clem with Nick/Pete).
There's probably more, I can't think of anything, though.
And when you save one of the pair (Carley/Doug or Nick/Pete) the other will question why you saved them instead of the other.
In episode one if Clem goes through the pocket of the tied up walker she says something like "I imagine if he was alive he would want to help."
I think Lee says something similar before going through Larry's pocket.
I didn't catch that. Clem is just a miniature Lee sort of, kind of.
She paid attention to Lee, that's for sure.
Going through the pocket is optional, so it's easy to miss.
Maybe she got that from when Larry died?
Actually, now that you mention it... I believe Clementine also says to Sam something like, "It's okay. We just need to stay out of reach. We're smart, they aren't. We're smarter than all of them". Didn't Lee say that in the jewelry store right before Clem killed that security walker?
Yup, not many people got that. I guess i played season 1 so much that those type of quotes just stay in my head.
The way Clem hit the tied up walker in 'All That Remains' with the log felt like a reference to when she hit the one in the jewelry store with the baseball bat in 'No Time Left'. I think it was Telltale's way of showing how far she's come, and that she hasn't forgotten what Lee taught her. The sounds and actions were practically identical. It almost made me tear up.
