How were the zombies being able to bite through cloth?
I mean, look at Clem's non-canon death scene on the bridge, the zombie bit her on the arm and opened her stomach WHILE HER SHIRT WAS ON.

  • I've also wondered this to a certain extent, zombies are obviously not super-human in their strength.
I don't know but I would find it rather hard for even living people to bite through clothes and tear out a chunk, let alone decaying corpses.

It's probably due to some sort of animation cuts. It would take too long for them to make it more realistic. The characters' clothing and other forms of attire might as well be attached to their bodies, as they are part of their models.

EDIT: @Rigtail's comment below seems to clear everything up. If the fact about the brain is true, then that's amazing. Wow.

    Thumbs up this guy!

  • That's both disturbing and incredibly fascinating... that answers my question, although this would mean that gradually the walkers would lose their ability to feed if they're constantly gnawing, ripping the jaw muscles, tendons and breaking their teeth and jawbones in the process.

  • in the show a zombie bit right through a pair of jeans... I was like HOW?

  • Magic, my dear.
