2) her real last name
3)some random name

I doubt it. It seems like such a random, non emotional/moral choice with no consequences. Her real name was kept a secret throughout the entirety of S1-present only for it to be revealed on one of Carver's registry's? Yeah, I don't buy it, that ain't the TellTale way.

How would we know the difference between the real last name and the fake last name? Assuming Carver already knows her first name is Clementine.

Most African-Americans have European last names because slaves often took the last name of their owners. Only Africans who immigrated to the US after slavery was abolished have something more authentic to Africa. African-Americans who have more authentic last names either changed them at some point or married an African immigrant. Clem's last name could be White, Burke, Henderson, Smith, Jones, Jefferson, Washington, etc for all we know.
Judging a person's ethnicity based on their last name, especially in the US, isn't really a viable option. The US is considered a melting pot society for a reason. Some names are even cross cultural. Look at Lee. You think General Robert E. Lee was Chinese just because Bruce Lee had the same last name and was Chinese? So there's no way we can guess Clem's last name before Telltale reveals it.
