  • shut the fuck up. You're annoying as hell. I am 24 years old and have a masters degree in anthropology. And you have what? A highschool diploma? I know how to read just fine, buddy. And yes, "tracking for the end of march" means that they expect that the game is going to be RELEASED at the end of March. And every vita player on here understands that shit happens, all we're saying is make an announcement about not making that expectation and give a new one. No other game company would be silent after something like this

TRACKING for release end of march is not a confirmation it is end of march. that is a guess/estimate. that is saying we are looking at

  • Do you really think they have no news? You are dumber than you sound if that's what you think.

and when they have said news/info they post it. if they have nothing to say how can they then post it/update us ? so yeah a weekly update of 'no news right now' would probably irk some people :P

  • The big 3? HAHA. It may be hard for penny scratchers like you to understand that a lot people sold their PS3 because they now have a PS4. So ps3 and xbox360 are not part of the big 3.

same i spose then again on other formats like the big 3 they are more careful with giving estimates outside of the dreaded coming soon's...

  • Which is messed up in a way because not many people own PS Vitas :/

  • I think I am about to give in and play season 2 on the PS3 without my save file, and let the game randomly generate my choices from season 1. :( I have heard though that they don't seem to make much of a difference, is this true?

  • So I started season 2 on PS3 without my save file! It seems like absolutely nothing comes back from season 1 so far. You still get to choose how you remembered Lee. Anyways, I was lucky and the random generation of my choices did it exactly the way I did it in season 1. (a honest and trustworthy Lee who loved Clem) Not that it matters tho, cuz there are no consequences in the first episode from your choices in season 1. (besides in the "previously on" part)

  • think i might have to join you mate.. gonna get it for ps3 as it seems that telltale treats ps3 players a little better than vita playrs.. #norespectforvita

  • Ya I would if I was you. I hardly ever play my ps3 now since I got ps4 and the Vita. But you're right, telltale respects the PS3 players more than Vita. Oh, and my biggest worry in doing this was not having my save file from my vita, you know? But it wasn't a big deal at all! As long as you played the first season, (no matter which platform), you are still going to have the connection to Clementine that you want, and you still get to choose in the dialogue on if you liked Lee or didn't really care for him. So far, absolutely no choices from season 1 have came into season 2's story. Which was my biggest concern

  • For those having all most all the sony systems are so lucky. Sadly I only have a vita so I have to continue to wait for it to be released on the vita. Kind of knew I was giving my hopes up when I first heard it was suppose to come out last month. Oh well guess I have to play more of my other games before I can even get to play more of the walking dead.

  • Damn, I'm so sorry :/

    Not even an iOS?

  • Nope not even that. At first when I bought my vita {since I finally had the money too} it was the bundled Walking Dead one cause it the only one the store had in stock at the time. At first I didn't think I would like the game at all because I never watched the Walking Dead television series. But the second Clem and Lee got together I couldn't put the game down at all. I was excited hearing that there would be a season two, but kinda got mad when it didn't come out for the vita. My first thought was that it was just my luck because usually all the games I like usually got sequels on the other platforms, but than I remembered that vita was a touch screen so they were probably fixing it up so it would work through that way again. So I was happy hearing that the vita was going to get it, but of course hopes just keep getting smashed when it isn't being released.

  • Wow, I really wish TTG would read our comments here, especially yours. It's just that the Vita doesn't get much attention overall compared to the other platforms. I actually bought the Vita version by accident thinking I'm gonna play it on PS3 too. But I can't transfer my save files to the PS3. So, I bought the PS3 version a few weeks later and now I have it on both. I'll tell you what, though, having TWD on the go is awesome. I just hate how they keep pushing their guess-timate release dates back and back. Originally it was last fall, then after the holidays, and now end of March. How much longer???

"Vita doesn't get much attention". This statement right here is so very true. To be honest I mainly only wanted a vita for the God Eater 2 {still isn't out yet which is really getting me upset}, and the Corpse Party Blood Drive {sadly even Japan doesn't even have it yet so I'm set back probably another year for that}. Yes there are quite a few games on the vita that are really fun, but I think that they could be doing a lot better in games. There are some games I see being released that I wish that would get on the vita but it like sony is completely forgetting about their vita as being a solo gaming device an just adding more stupid remote play on it. Not everyone bought the vita just so they can remote play on their ps3 an ps4.

  • I agree, the reason I got the Vita was because my PSP was on its' last legs :'( So I bought it two days after it released. The lack of games on this thing is very upsetting for me. I always check the PS Store if anything interesting comes out, but they're just Indie games or franchises that are not interesting to me.

  • I will say, this does appear to be a pretty good year though for Vita. March was particularly awesome IMO (Miku, Final Fantasy, Deception, even hulu showed up for the party), marred only by TWD going MIA.

    love affair ? i'm a ttg fan boi didn't you know ?? wow....'slow clap'

i figure the common sense from other topics could be applied here, i guess i was wrong..

  • You're the one that is on this board for no other reason than to comment sarcastic posts to people who play the Vita. Seriously, what was your reason to even start commenting on here? So yes, you are annoying for those reasons. Not because you have some love affair with telltale.

  • Lol. No that is not just my interpretation of the big 3. Oh, I guess TellTale is the king of game companies?? The fact that TellTale hasn't gone to PS4 yet shows how small they are in the gaming industry.

  • is there anything we could do to get some information? im not talking protesting or anything stupid like that but a way for us vita players to have our say and ask telltale for some info.. im not angry about the delays i am a huge telltale fan and trust that they are taking their time to make the best game possible but i am angry about the lack of info vita players get and the general lack of respect the vita receives.. telltale dont reply via twitter and they dont seem to be hearing our cries on this so was wondering is there any other way to reach them?

  • Honestly, the only way I would see them responding, would be if somebody at a major publication called them out on the treatment that the Vita base gets from them. Unfortunately, I don't think it's considered a big enough issue though that anybody would put their relationship with Telltale on the line.

  • I'm with you I cant understand why there hasnt been any info given for us vita players. delays are fine but ignoring your customers is a terrible thing and seems they dont care

To be honest I have pretty much given up on this game. Not that I don't want to play it, just doesn't seem like the vita will ever be getting it. Every Tuesday I check the PS Store praying that the first two episodes will be in there an each Tuesday it just a let down. Lets face it Telltale doesn't care about its vita players because there are rarely any vita players {most probably jumped ship when they realized there are barely any games being released for it that can even hold a candle to the ps3 and ps4 games}. An to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they just completely ditch their project for the vita an kept it on all the other systems. After all it wouldn't be the first or last time that a sequel to a game isn't released on all the platforms that had the first one. For example take that Call of Duty Black Ops, My mother's boyfriend bought it for the Wii before the second one was even released an what do you know the second installment to this game wasn't even released on the Wii. It makes you wonder why game creators even bother letting some of their games being released on certain systems just to turn around an release all their sequels on different systems. Sorry if my ranting sounds stupid.

  • That'll probably happen because the Ouya still doesn't have TWD at all yet. I didn't even know about the Ouya until a few months ago.

I thought I'd make a note here since there's been confusion about my changing of the thread title. The terms "end of March" and "near the end of March" was just the topic of the title on these forums, which was set by me, a volunteer moderator - Telltale only ever used the term towards the end of March.

Since they did mention that they were aiming towards the end of March, chances are they're either in the submission process or waiting for Sony to set a release date. Hopefully it won't be too much longer now.

  • I hope so. I'm diein' here!

No, the vita saves are incompatible with the PS3 save detection in The Walking Dead Season Two. The save files can't be used on different systems, since they're completely different builds.

  • Vita:

    First episode = 4,99€
    Second episode = 4,99€
    DLC (season pass) = 19,99€

    Then:

    4,99 * 5 Episodes = 24,95 €
    4,99 + 19,99 = 24,98 €

What the hell? It´s 3 cents more expensive the season pass!
